I downloaded it and tested it, seems like a very nice aircraft. If you want the fuel tanks to display more accurately for the panel that comes with the package, change the fuel section in the aircraft.cfg to read as follows: [fuel] //Longitudinal (feet), Lateral (feet), Vertical (feet), Usable(gallons), Unusable (gallons) fuel_type = 2 number_of_tank_selectors = 1 electric_pump = 1 Center1 = -18.5, 0, -2.7, 8113, 46 LeftAux = -0.617, -20, 2, 8536, 48 RightAux = -0.617, 20, 2, 8536, 48 I changed the amount of unusable fuel (the last value in the string) in the tanks because I don't like surprises when I'm flying. If you want the original amount of unusable fuel, add a zero to the last value, like this: Center1 = -18.5, 0, -2.7, 8113, 460 LeftAux = -0.617, -20, 2, 8536, 480 RightAux = -0.617, 20, 2, 8536, 480 Now all four fuel tank meters will work. Edit: Corrected a mistake.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge viscount, I changed my cfg page and it works like a champ. How you guys ever figure this stuff out is beyond me. Again...thanks.

No problem. Actually I made another change. I noticed that if you use the above configuration the aircraft will by default use the right tank only. Not so much fun if you forget to change the crossfeed settings before takeoff. Change the line number_of_tank_selectors = 1 to number_of_tank_selectors = 3 and that will take care of this problem. Also, if you want your radio to work, find the section in the aircraft.cfg that looks like this [Radios] Audio.1=1 Com.1=1, 1 Com.2=1, 1 Nav.1=1, 1, 1 Nav.2=1, 1, 0 Adf.1=1 Adf.2= 0 Transponder.1=1 Marker.1=1 and replace it with [Radios] Audio.1=1 Com.1=1, 0 Com.2=1, 0 Nav.1=1, 0, 1 Nav.2=1, 0, 0 Adf.1=1 Adf.2= 0 Transponder.1=1 Marker.1=1 I enjoy tinkering with .cfg and .air files to (imho) improve downloaded aircraft that I feel have the potential but doesn't quite have what it takes to make me want to fly them on a regular basis. And no, I haven't modified any HJG aircraft.

Thanks all for heads-up and updates. This looks like it would be a great HJG airplane.

Equally importantly too .... that link provided by Jim is very useful in respect of sourcing what's been done, and by who, and where it all is now as well .... in respect of other aircraft types which are available for FS.
And its nice to see HJG products (collaborated or otherwise) rating pretty highly among these listing also.

The links I've found to the "official" repaints etc. no longer work. Does anyone have links that work?

The only repaint I was able to find (other than those included with that download) was an Air Canda 1973 livery (a personal favourite of mine!). The link still works: web.295.ca/booboo/texture.ac73.zipRegards, Jim

This is truly a great freeware plane. It works in FSX and flies great. Thank you for the link! Thanks too for the fixes above. Earl

Just for fun as I haven't dealt with any "heavies" in a long time I got the L1011 last weekend. I've done some modifications on the FDE including new payload, adjustments to the flaps so they stop at all the settings indicated, added strobe lights to the wings, and some other general adjustments to the flight and engine dynamics. If anyone wants these changes PM me with your email and I'll send it along Mike
