Many of you have likely have been following the progress of HJG's CARAVELLE alliance with AFG in respect of the CARAVELLE.
This's quite a large project representing 4 different CARAVELLE aircraft types, panels, effects, and a host of textures as well.
I need to say that our hold-up in releasing this project has nothing to do with FS politics, nor is it AFG's fault either, but rather, to acomodate the CARAVELLE here requires a fair bit of page renovation along with other extensive preparation work too.
Rest assured everyone .... this project "WILL" be appearing here very soon .... as part of our next/current website update.
In the meantime here's a brief preview of what we will shortly be offering ....

CARAVELLE SMOKE EFFECTS
All CARAVELLE versions !!!!
PLEASE NOTE .... I need to stress that "some" of the above previewed textures are still pending modifications and will not make our next/impending website update, but rather, these will follow in a later update. Also .... "some" of the above textures are "NEW" whereas as others have been previously released, but, many of those previously released subjects (displayed here) represent further improved versions of their original releases.
"ALL" of the above panels (by Benoit GAURANT) have the latest updates (addressing a number of previously reported issues) already incorporated into them. Each of these panels also features it's own particular gauge set .... and .... comes complete with extremely thourough/comprehensive manuals/documentation .... and which will also be further supported by my own extensive "PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" and "BASIC FLYING GUIDE" information to be posted on the ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT forum page, or, upon a new CARAVELLE SUPPORT forum page (undecided yet) which will/may be added to our forum upon the release of this project.
CARAVELLE 1/1A, 3, 6N, and 6R will be represented by separate aircraft base packs. Those for the CARAVELLE 3 and 6N will be classified as "EARLY" and "LATE" production aircraft versions .... this is necessary in order to meaningfully represent the performance advantages of one particular aircraft type over the other. In co-operation with AFG .... Mike MONCE and myself have revised "ALL" the original CARAVELLE FDE. Our improvements are small .... but .... are noticeable and "POSITIVE" too.
2 RR AVON turbojet soundpacks by Benoit PLAMONDON and myself ("AEROMUSICA") will be available for these aircraft. Both non-reverse (for CARAVELLE 1/1A, 3, and 6N) and reverse thrust equipped soundpacks (for CARAVELLE 6R) will be represented.
It is intended that the AFG CARAVELLE line will in future be further extended .... to eventually represent the entire CARAVELLE flightline .... all going well. The next version of this aircraft to be released (currently in production now) is the CARAVELLE SUPER 10 .... which will also come to roost here at HJG.
Further more defintive information regarding this CARAVELLE project may be reviewed in the following report which appears on "PAGE 3" of my earlier posting on this subject .... see the following link ....

A very special and much appreciated thanks is due to AFG (Esa KAIHLANEN, and Haakon SOREIDE) for their kind co-operation in allowing HJG to host their superb CARAVELLE simulation. Equally special thanks are also due to Benoit GUARANT (the CARAVELLE panel author/programmer) .... Mike MONCE for his FDE expertise .... Benoit PLAMONDON for his audio expertise in relation to the soundpacks designed for these aircraft.... and also to each of the following FS texture artists too whom have each authorised HJG to host their original CARAVELLE work .... Rui CRISTINA (AFG), Loic DEVISME, Pierre DUPONT, Rodolpho ESTRELLA, Felipe FONESCA, Hinrich KAESTNER, Jens-Ole KJOLBERG, Mike PEARSON, and Manuele VILLA !
I feel this project is a classic example of FS co-operation working "AT IT'S VERY BEST" .... and the way things should indeed be in our hobby if everyone is to benefit properly
Beyond the presentation of this "2ND FRENCH REVOLUTION" project, I'll also later on be presenting another new project that Camilo & myself have been working on and which is entitled "THE 2ND VIKING INVASION" .... but .... for the time being I'll leave the subject of this particular new project up to each of your own individual imaginations ! ;D
