Thank you Ben ! Here's what a GOOGLE search turned up .... "Aeroamerica, which was a descendant of Air Club International, began flying in early 1974 with worldwide charter and contract flights. Perhaps its most successful base was in Berlin, where it had many military contracts. By 1978, the year of deregulation, it obtained domestic scheduled authority and began offering scheduled Boeing 720 service between Seattle and Spokane. This was followed by scheduled Seattle to Honolulu service. By 1976, Aeroamerica had a substantial business flying its planes for other airlines in the Middle East and North Africa. Carriers under contract include EgyptAir, Pakistan International Airways (PIA), Saudia, and Somali Airlines. This newfound business disappeared by late 1978, and financial problems followed. Aeroamerica was found to be in violation of various federal regulations and had its authority to fly to Europe and the Hawaii revoked. On November 15, 1979, Aeroamerica went under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and the FAA grounded the airline on the grounds that its now bankrupt condition could affect safety. By June 1980 the FAA completely withdrew Aeroamerica's certificate. By 1982, it had resolved most of its FAA problems and began offering charter flights as it had started almost a decade earlier, but it was too late for Michael Falconer and his airline. It's assets were sold off shortly thereafter. Known Fleet: Boeing 707s and 720s; BAC 1-11s".Tony has already repainted for us 2 or 3 AEROAMERICA B720's .... which are currently available in our standard "B720" downloads section .... if anyone's interested. I'm not sure if Garry RUSSELL ever repainted David MALTBY's BAC 1-11 model/s in AEROAMERICA livery .... but .... if he hasn't .... then maybe someone could twist his arm to do so between BRISTOL FREIGHTER model testing Mark C BOG/CO
