Update: It's alive! I was able to get the KC-135R (and B707-700) panel to load. But ONLY by first loading another aircraft (any one seemed to do from the standard MS FSX inventory). I also eliminated the other HJG KC-135A from Airplanes file folder inventory (so as to resolve any possible conflicts and attempt to narrow down where the problem might lay). The KC-135R aircraft still attach themselves to other non-MS FSX aircraft in the selection menu, although the description is proper.
I can live with the hassle... but hopefully if someone else encounters the same problems this work around will get them going. Somebody smarter than me will have to figure out the "why" and the "fix". Ah, computers.

Glad to hear you seemed to have got (almost) solved....
I'll comment on your mails in due time, and if I find anything of interest for the public, I'll post it as well here.

Thanks, Dan. BTW: Tried the DC-8-73F (and DC-8-72/73 panel). It loaded without incident and both aircraft and panel perform beautifully!

And there shouldn't be any troubles with your KC-135R either.... just follow procedures.... Btw. You might find an email in your inbox now
