You are quite right Chris, I do know the insides of FSUIPC (or the theory of inter process communication programming in general) I just didn't want to go into more technical details, and how it works.
I also know the SimConnect is not the end of all thing, rather more like a "beginning of all things" ...

BTW, Ken, I know that there are some who don't think buying FSUIPC is worth it, but I bought it way back in 2004 or 2005 (can't remember or be arsed to look up the SimMarket order) and I've never had to pay for any update since, so I think that for ~US$40 and now going on 6 years of use, it's worth it. As well, because I have a CH Throttle Quadrant, FSUIPC is a must because it's the only way I can map the controls to multiple aircraft without having to do it every time I switch aircraft. So, if for anything, there are a lot of other reasons to get the full version of FSUIPC if you fly FS a lot other than because you need it to get the IVSI to work properly.

Those updates for the TM2 b727-200 ADVC are certainly comming thick and fast I ran into problems with the recent V1.30 update .... and then the V1.31 update too .... in FS2004 .... SO .... maybe .... this latest V1.32 update could end up being the solution to all of my recent problems. I hope so .... because i wouldn't mind doimg a bit of serious B737'ing Mark C AKL/NZ
