SAETA caravelle 6N (HC-BDS) = saebds.zip SAETA caravelle 6N (HC-BAD) = saebad.zip Alitalia caravelle 6N ("Spica") = afgc6na1.zip Alitalia caravelle 6N ("Altair") = afgc6na2.zip Corse Air caravelle 6N = afgc6nca.zipThe 2 SAETA ECUADOR aircraft represent the first private repaints .... that I'm aware of. The 2 ALITALIA, and the CORSE AIR aircraft are AFG's own releases Just a reminder too BTW .... CARAVELLE 1 (protoype), 3, 6, and 6N series aircraft weren't equipped with thrust reversers .... as correctly represented per the accompanying soundpack. It was only CARAVELLE 6R, and all the later SUPER series aircraft that were equipped with T/R's. Just a bit of information in case anyonne was wondering ! Mark C AKL/NZ

One of many great things about the CARAVELLE is .... it just looks "BEAUTIFUL" in any language ! Among many folk it seems to inspire romantic sentiments akin to those expressed regarding the "queen of the propliners" .... the CONSTELLATION. Mark C AKL/NZ

Couldn't agree more with the Connie being the Queen of the Propliners. I feel very fortunate to have flown that beauty for six months, even if only as Co-Pilot.
United was the only airline (to my knoweledge) that had the Caravelle on this side of "The Pond". I wonder if they'll do one in United colors?

Glad to know you're enjoying those sounds "WOLFGANG" "SKYKING" .... AFG can't yet to the CARAVELLE in UNITED livery. UA's aircraft were 6R's .... reverser equipped. At the moment the AFG flightline only represents non-reverser equipped CARAVELLE 3, 6, & 6N series aircraft. I'm sure we'll see something from them later though. Mark C AKL/NZ

FYI .... more textures for the AFG CARAVELLE are available.
Kindly note that these aren't AFG releases though.
FLIGHTSIM.COM file names as follows ....
Cruzeiro Do Sul Caravelle 6R = crz6cjr.zip Pan Air Do Brasil Caravelle 6R = pnb6pdu.zip
.... I query the above textures being for the true 6R series CARAVELLE model. So far as I'm aware AFG haven't released their CARAVELLE 6R model yet.
And the following are available from AVSIM.COM ....
Libyan Arab Airlines Caravelle 3 = afg_caravelle3_libyan.zip JAT Caravelle 6N = texturec_v6n_jat.zip
.... the above textures do appear to be for the correct CARAVELLE 3 model versions .... according to my aircraft references/sources here.
The Libyan Arab Airlines aircraft in particular (repainted by Mike PEARSON) seems to comprise of some great looking natural metal texturing .... so far as I can determine from the previews of it.

Hi guys, First of all, thank you for all the nice words and comments! Wish you Happy Holidays! Now, the work on the Caravelle series continues... We're modifying the Caravelle III paint kit to fit the model 6R, which is otherwise just about complete. The next in line, hopefully soon after, is the model 10 B3 or "Super Caravelle" as it's commonly known. The screenshots are directly from Gmax, and we only have the wireframe templates available as textures for now. we're looking for people who would be interested in helping out with making a proper paint kit. Sorry Esa .... I forgot to reply to this before ! It was a real pleasure being able to sort out audio for the CARAVELLE 3, 6, and 6N for you guys. Updated versions of those original SUPER CARAVELLE soundpacks I sent you a while back will be on the way to you (via Hakon) as soon as I can get back into audio developoment again .... once my private worload starts to settle down a bit .... which it surely will in a couple weeks time. Small update for the Caravelle III and VI-N is on the way. Benoit Gaurant has finished updating the panels for all of the models, and he has also created a new panel for the French Air Force version. The panel update should fix the problems with larger resolutions etc. reported after the initial release. Mr. Gaurant will be uploading the updates to Avsim.com in the near future.
Flight dynamics have also been tweaked further by my brother, Ari (new files should be part of the panel update). He conducted some test flights, and below are the results:
