Hi all, is there anything on my part that I could do to get the DC-8-50 series nose wheel to have more of a angle when steering, from the outside visually is seem to barely turn. I check with the DC-8-60 series, and the nose wheel turn close to 90 degrees in both directions. Thanks, Bill

I would think that would be something adjustable in the aircraft model, but I don't know for sure.

"BILL" .... this one's came up once or twice on the old forum.
Ensure that you've got the "YAW DAMPER" turned "OFF". If activated the Yaw Damper will aparently restrict nose gear animation/movement.

I made sure I turned Yaw Damper off, but the nose wheel still turn only a little bit even though the aircraft (DC-8-50 series) is making a hard right or left turn. This problem does not exist in the DC-8-60 series. When I make a hard turn the nose wheel will turn 90 degrees to the left and right. Could this be a MDL problem?
Thanks,
Bill

that is because the -50 modelfile is older, the 62 and 72 do not have the fully steering nosegear too tata JP.
