Mr Dan, Please, please lets stay with the small problem. Please look it also from my side of view and read everything from the beginning. 1: what i read after my first question is your answer on PS remark and what i thought is the main question was not read at all. 2: then the replay "there is nothing wrong with the INS system". 3: the tutorial tip from you i try it and then the question should,t you use W071013 instead of W71013 and in the tutorial is clearly mentioned NO 0 at the W or E insert. 4: remarks about how i use the FS9, this is the way i use it, but tips are always welcome But this small problem is not only on the B707 panel but also on the DC8 INS panel. So i can not imagine that i am the only one with this small problem. I hope you will still try to find the problem. rgds Willem.

3: the tutorial tip from you i try it and then the question should,t you use W071013 instead of W71013 and in the tutorial is clearly mentioned NO 0 at the W or E insert. I checked the INS myself within the last hour and found no problem with the alignment. I entered W071013, although I think you're right that the leading zero is not necessary and W71013 could be used instead. However you mentioned you entered W71133 (and the images you posted confirm this), which would represent not the desired W71* 1.33, but rather W71* 13.3 (hence the failure). George

Mr George, BINGO!! ;D I found the deferents between the Carousel INS inserting procedure and the HJG INS procedure. See image,s I can insert exactly the same West figures as given by the FS (shift +Z) in to Carousel INS and everything works fine (Green light). But see the HJG Image. I can NOT insert exactly the same West figures as given by the FS (shift + Z) you have to take care about the * and . so you need to take care about a 0 or not. So what happens i get a lot (see you tube movie) of info, and i have a lot of info about the carousel INS and they put everthing direct in to the INS. And used this procedure also for your INS. So perhaps you can use this info in the manuals? rgds Willem.

Very well done George, a simple matter of a misplaced comma well spotted. 13.3 is certainly not 1.33 even though the digits are the same. (I would almost say that it is a bug in the CIVA INS .....)

Very well done George, a simple matter of a misplaced comma well spotted. A comma for you continentals, but a decimal point for Anglospherians such as myself.
