Isn't this the type of plane Elvis used as his private jet?
The "Kings" private aircraft was a CV 880 named "Lisa Marie" which was the name of his daughter.
I believe this airplane is on display at Graceland in Memphis, TN. US.

I suppose it surprises me that nobody .... to my knowledge .... has yet made an FS video of this particular aircraft/texture .... maybe backgrounded with a bit of Elvis's classic music for addiotional ambiance
There's a project for someone who's both an FS jetliner enthusiast as well as an Elvis fan to consider .... maybe !

I'm new here and I'm a HUGE Elvis fan and have been for over twenty years. I saw in one part of the thread where ya'll were asking about the dollar amounts he paid for the conversion and the purchase. Elvis paid $750,000.00 for the purchase of the plane in April, 1975. After receiving the plane, he spent just another $250,000 re-designing the plane to his liking. Last year it was heavily rumored that both this plane and the "Hound Dog II" JetStar (which was NEVER painted the same color as the Lisa Marie), were both up for sale by the original buyer who lives in Texas. Luckily, Graceland bought back the planes. Contrary to what is believed, the Lisa Marie has not always been in Memphis, TN. After Elvis's death, his father, Vernon, sold the airplane to a group in Florida and the plane went to several other areas before, finally, in 1984, two years after Graceland was opened to the public, the Lisa Marie was brought back home and placed across the area from where Graceland is now. You can clearly see the tail of the aircraft as you drive down highway 51 South in Memphis.
As of 2016, both planes will remain at the complex across the street for the time being. There was going to be a plan to put both aircraft into a building to protect them from the weather but - that was nixed because both planes could actually be damaged because of how long they have been sitting in their respective places across from the mansion.
Hope this information helps!!
