I've been unable to get my Addon Scenery in FSX to show. Have installed several addon scenery files to it and loaded them as instructed, and when I click on search addon, no matter what I type in the search menu at top I receive nothing back. Any suggestions?

A well-known bug at least in Vista / Win7:
1) open FSX 2) open Settings 3) click Scenery Library... 4) click Add Area 5) Mark the scenery you want to add (do not click or double click just mark it) 5) click OK ( it will open selected Addon scenery so you can now see it's subfolders, scenery & texture) 6) now RIGHT CLICK anywhere on the white area in that open folder: Dialog will now close and selected scenery will be added in the list 7) click OK in the lower right and FSX will build new scenery database with your scenery added to it

Thanks for your instructions Dan, however when I click on Add Area, I get the Select Scenery Directory up, then I have to click on Addon Scenery file, then I get the available ones I have installed in Addon Scenery. I just checked them so the check mark shows, clicked ok and it supposedly updated the files. Right clicking on anywhere does not give me the material you advised. I am using Vista Home Premium. Am I misunderstanding that the addon scenery is in addon scenery in the Current Location change? When I click on current location change and recieve the select airport screen, I then click on the search add-on scenery button at bottom. This takes me to the search addon scenery page. I type the name in the airport name and nothing happens. I wish I could send you each individual page as I'm not getting the same as your instructions.

You have to fiddle a bit until you get it right.... that instruction was nicked off the net somewhere...
Google "Add scenery win7 vista" it'll get around 1.000.000 hits, and one of them may give you a better description to follow.
