Thanks again MC. Back in the 60's, I flew a PA-11-90 thru the mountains from the west coast of the US to the Central. No electrical system, no radio's, just many sectional maps and lots of invinceability. Trust me, it was a riot, and I wondered many times it I was in the wrong canyon. I like to do that stuff today also on flight sims. Thanks again, I truly enjoy HJG and all you guys do. Great fun. Denny H Rapid City, SD USA

I know the feeling .... even in a "VIRTUAL" aviation capacity only.
I felt, and wondered the same thing too, whilst threading my way through valleys of the Cordillera Oriente range of the massive Cordillera De Los Andes .... en route between Villavicencio and Bogota .... flying Jens B KRISTENSEN´s FOKKER FV11-A (just for a bit of nostalgic fun). Especially when I was at 8,000 FT .... in a canyon with the mountains still much higher than I was flying (the FVII-A can´t sem to go much higher that 8,000 FT) .... and then suddenly confronted with rising ground in front of me after turning the corner of a canyon .... and with bugger all room left or right of me in order to be able to safely perform a 180 degree turn. Let´s just say this wasn´t successful .... and I´ve so far broken 2 FOKKER FV11-A´s in the process (very unlike me) of still trying to find a safe way through these deadly mountain ranges .... albeit without a topographical/geograpghical map.
The FOKKER FV11-A was one of the first aircraft to fly commercially in here Colombia .... and these aircraft were extremly limited in terms of their own capacity .... and probably more-so too given Colombia´s beautiful, mountainous, and extremly challenging (if not taxing) geographical terrain.
Doing what I´m trying to, at the moment, sort of gives one some appreciation of the challlengews which must have faced SCADTA (now AVIANCA) flying these "little FOKKER´s" on early experimental services throughout the Republic of Colombia.

I'm downloading the "little Fokker" at this time. Thanks so much. I have another post on FSX regarding the panel problems I'm having with the HJG B-727. It worked at one time and for some reason, now the problems addressed there. Since you appear to be so familiar with this stuff I was wondering if you would take a look at that post. I'm at a loss. Thanks again and keep the blue side up! Denny H

Although I´m not an FSX user or specialist .... I´ve attempted to provide an answer for you, just now, on the end of your original B727 panel thread.
See if any of this helps !
