Although HJG was built on a tradition of "classic jetliners" .... like the B707, CV880, CV990, and DC8 in particular .... it's been quite a while since we've actually seen a new one of these
Given the implementation of newer classic modern jetliner types here at HJG over the past 2-3 years, the like of B707's appear to have become almost as rare sightings "HERE" as they now are in the real word .... I guess that's just evidence of progress/evolution for ya within both real world and virtual aviation environments !
ANYWAY ....
Presenting SINGAPORE AIRLINES B707-320B ADVC 9V-BBB .... "as recently requested" .... and as she appeared during the late 1970's when she supported the airlines original attractive dark blue/yellow/white livery ....
SINGAPORE AIRLINES B707-312B ADVC 9V-BBB (1978)
B707-312B 9V-BBB, C/N # 19739, L/N # 765, first flew on November 22nd 1968 and was delivered to MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE AIRLINES (9V-BBB) on December 9th 1968. This aircraft then entered SINGAPORE AIRLINES (9V-BBB) from September 1970 .... with the creation of the new state of Singapore and desolution of the original MSA operating agreement. It remained with the, then, new airline until its sale to OMNI INTERNATIONAL JET TRADING (N600CS) on January 16th 1980 when it was then leased to COASTAL STATES GAS CORPORATION (N600CS) .... whom bought this aircraft during July of 1981. It was then sold to ABCO LEASING INC (N600CS) during January 1983 and leased, once again, to COASTAL STATES GAS CORPORATION (N600CS) .... then .... sold back to OMNI INTERNATIONAL JET TRADING (N600CS) on January 1st 1986 and immediately on-sold to the GOVERNMENT OF TOGO (5Y-TAG). This was written-off in a landing accident at Niamey/Niger/West Africa on January 21st 2000.
I want to thank my friend Michael VERLIN ("THANKS" Michael) .... "one of" the founding fathers of HJG .... for allowing us to use his original texture base .... AND .... a very special thanks also to my friend and colleague Camilo LUENGAS ("GRACIAS" amigo) for helping me modify the original texture in order to represent this SINGAPORE AIRLINES B707-320B ADVC for us
