Hello,
I recently installed the basepacks for DC-9-10 and 30 (=the complete package with core Panel, specific Panel, Sound and a lot of liveries too). Everything works fine, well, with the exception of one thing:
After take-off I push the "G"-Button to retract the landing gears, but as soon as I release the button the gears begin to lower back again. Even if I would hold down the G-button until the gears are fully retracted they would come out again if I release the button. This condition changes ONLY when I reach the altitude of over 8000 ft.. I have this Problem with both, DC-9-10 and 30. I am sure that I have never changed any values and that the Installation was done correctly.
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
Looking Forward for Advice
C.

Hi 'crossbone40',
I don't know what FS you're using, but how about resetting the button-assignments of your FS? Perhaps this might erase your problem.

My OS is Win 7 and I use FS9. Well, the retracting with the help of the lever visible inside the cockpit works without any Problems and the wheels stay inside once they were retracted. The "G"-Button causes these difficulties only with the hjg dc-9s, no other planes are involved.
By the way,Klaus, if you speak German I am from Austria

I don´t know why but everytime I write the name of the part of the plane where the pilots are during the flight the program changes it to "thingypit".

Hi 'crossbone40',
I think 'thingypit' should be cockpit, right?
Also you're right, I'm from Germany.
Normally I write English in English forums, but sometimes (like now) I make exceptions from this:

You must have the option of retract when release button in FS, or your controller. Falcon

Thanks for your replies. Und ja, ich habe alle Partitionen für die dc9s von hjg downgeloaded (inkl. effects, panels) Maybe there is a Problem within the configuration of the hjg-dc-9s (ref.my Computer)but I never tried to change something, due to the warnings. You must have the option of retract when release button in FS, or your controller. Falcon I never thought about to put this function on my Controller, always did retract by G or the Lever in the C...pit. I Play very often with the Keyboard only. (Yes, not very professional) Well, maybe it could be of help. I´ll try it. Thanks & Danke Hermann

Hi Crossbone, Be careful with the DC-9, to retract and extend the landing gear, don't forget to turn the hydraulic system on ! (only if the keyboard problem is solved and the landing gear can't still be raised)

Hi Matt, Thank You for your advise-I´ll try it out tonight. Would be interesting if I shut the hydraulic system off first and activate it again-perhaps it will have some effect on my gears-problem.

It's autocorrect causing thingypit..it does not accept c@ckpit as it think "c@ck" is a rude word so changes it to thingy

I wish we could find Polly Politicallycorrect and re-educate her. Most of us are not Kindergardeners
I'm not proposing we start throwing four-letter words about freely, but c'mon: Thingypit?!?

The "HYD PUMPS" toggle switch must be in the "HI"/fully up position for the landing and flaps to operate.

I hope that the hydraulic-system is the source of Hermanns problem. But if it is, it shows clearly how great the system-simulation of the DC-9 panel is built.

The reason I know about this is because the old Forum did it at first Later it didn't so obviously something that could be switch of...hopefully it can here too as it makes a mockery of trying to deal with issues.

Unfortunately, the landing gear is one of the few things that doesn't appear to be programmed correctly on the HJG Nine. I just tried it, and the gear retracted and extended normally with no hydraulic pressure. In reality, the landing gear is powered by the right hydraulic system (normally pressurized by the right engine-driven pump or the aux pump).
