I have now uploaded 5 files to the site:
707-120 Planes and Panels.zip - this file includes the panel for the 707-120/120B/220 and the 720/720B. It also includes examples of each aircraft with appropriately modified FDEs: 707-120 and -120B (Pan Am), -138 and -138B (Qantas), -220 (Braniff), 720 (Eastern) and 720B (Middle East Airlines). Each type of engine (JT3C, JT4A and JT3D) has appropriate engine gauges.
The panel is set to use the gauge file 707-120.GAU, which includes the older autopilot code. 707-120-ALT.GAU is the equivalent gauge file with the newer autopilot code (I recommend the HJG members test both, and adopt whichever gives better results).
Also included is an effects file FX_HJG_707HEAVY.FX for extra-heavy smoke, for use with the water-injected 707-120 and -138 (the panels for these marques turn the smoke on only when water injection is on), and the standard HJG 707 smoke file FX_HJG_707.FX for the other marques. The planes are set up to use the default 737 sounds.
707-320 Planes and Panels.zip - this file includes the panel for the 707-320/320B/320C/420. It also includes examples of each aircraft with appropriately modified FDEs: 707-320 (Sabena), -320B (Avianca), -320C (British Caledonian), and -420 (BOAC). Each type of engine (JT4A, JT3D and Conway) has appropriate engine gauges.
The panel is set to use the gauge file 707-320.GAU, which includes the older autopilot code. 707-320-ALT.GAU is the equivalent gauge file with the newer autopilot code. The standard smoke effects file FX_HJG_707.FX is also included. The planes are set up to use the default 737 sounds.
The other three ZIP files (707-Turbojet-Sound.zip, 707-JT3D-Sound.zip and 707-Conway-Sound.zip) are all sound files. These are the same sounds as those currently offered by HJG, but with the electrical sound removed. This means that the aircraft is silent when on the ground completely switched off (an electrical sound is included in the panel itself, which sounds when the aircraft is switched on).
I'll leave it up to the group as a whole to decide how to offer these new panels and FDEs for download.
