AI's not my scene .... BUT .... allow me to chip in with my folowing comment/s. No HJG files are, or should be, password controlled/restricted. "IF" this is happening to you .... then, I suggest, it may be something associated with your network configuration that's causing it. I'll, now, leave you in Paul's very capable/competent hands in regard to further analysis/advice Mark C AKL/NZ

I have downloaded the file above, and it opens just fine. No request for a password and no errors. Please check your network configuration, as its security protocols might be causing this problem. I zipped the files using 7zip with normal compression, so they should open up with all software that handles zip files. Paul

Hello, can you tell me, where I can get a tutorial (for bloody beginners) how to use AI in FS9? Or could you explain me this matter, Paul? I have installed skAI and there is no Need to set anything, due to their automatical appereance in their specific Region (=Austrian and German Planes in austrian and german Airports, japanese and chinse livery planes in eastern asia aso.) But what has to be done if I want to have vintage AI in vintage Airports? (f.e. fromCalclassic or Dmflightsim)

Hi Hermann.
The first step is to download and install TTools by Lee Swordy. You can find it at most FS download sites, or just Google it.
Please read the documentation that comes with it. This will explain how to make and compile the AI flight plans.
There are many AI flight plans available at retroai.proboards.com/ Either on the forum or on the main site linked at the top. Also, many more repaints available. All you have to do is compile the flight plans that you download.
It will take a while to get used to. Its not hard, and I find it fun.
Here is a help file I have written for installing AI.
You need to know the basics, so once you have read the TTools documentation, it should hopefully make sense.
Paul

Thank you very much for your quick Response. Yes, I hope that it will be fun seeing old planes on old Airports! But at first I have to struggle through your tutorial and I hope, that I will understand it Hermann
