Great exhibition about the birthday of Air New Zealand. I'm with Herman: The first video is the best of those three.
Too bad New Zealand is so very far away from Germany. I would like to visit this exhibition, but due the distance between those two countries and due my limited budget this won't happen.

Yes... New Zealand is certainly a beautiful place. It's on our bucket list along with Bora Bora.
Saw a show on TV the other day ( House Hunters International)A couple from the US were looking for a house in Auckland. It looks like a really nice city but the housing market is such that everything is up for what they call "Auction".

The Auckland property market is just "absolutely crazy/through the roof" in comparison with rates throughoput the rest of the country. Mind you though .... Auckland(where I'm located .... at the moment .... when not living in Bogota DC) is New Zealands principle gateway, it's largest city (not the capital though) and population base (for a country of just 4 million people), and is also where most of the opportunities are .... in regard to employment etc. Bora Bora/Polynesie Francaise .... is "GREAT" .... but .... very expensive "for the visitor". There's no income tax anywhere in Tahiti/French Polynesia, so, internal revenue is generated through stiff sales taxes and levees upon just about everything one buys. I've been up to Tahiti and out to Mo'orea 4 times since 1989 .... including out Bora Bora too .... with stops at Raiatea, and Huahine, along the way also .... and it's "great" despite the high cost of everything. Try the AEROSOFT Tahiti product (for FSX only) Herman .... as "a virtual apetizer" .... since its a lot cheaper Mark C AKL/NZ

A bit more promotional/advertising stuff is starting to materialize now in response to AIR NEW ZEALAND's 75th anniversary .... which incidentally was celebrated last week/on April 30th. Here's couple of the latest such celebratory videos .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOM1TVM96pAwww.youtube.com/watch?v=oKPHL8wVqaYThe point behind the 2nd of the above 2 videos is that AIR NEW ZEALAND .... or TEAL (TASMAN EMPIRE AIRWAYS LTD as it was known until 1965) was borne /baptized "on the water" .... flying SHORTS (type) flying boats which used to service Sydney's (Australia) Rose Bay from New Zealand throughout the 1940's and 50's .... hence the use of one of Sydney harbours ferries for this particular phase of our airlines celebration. BUT .... "best of all" .... I found this recently re-released particular old promotional video relating to one of AIR NEW ZEALAND's DC8-52's (possibly ZK-NZA which was the first aircraft of the type delivered to AIR NEW ZEALAND during 1965) .... in its original TEAL/AIR NEW ZEALAND livery of the period. This particular video isn't super sharp/clear, but, it is appreciably "old" and "incredibly rare" .... and the sound is OK (authentic) too .... despite it possibly having been dubbed-in later www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVtllgMagVw&list=PLEdYN0Y0HTE5FxEzCh9hEfj3vplt4gUL2Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Friends:
Congratulations for the 75th birthday. Seeing the exposition (on computer) and the creative videos I wonder if the Austrian Airlines which will comply her 60th birthday in 2017 (hopefully?) will come out with someting similar, but I doubt: Austrian Airlines is not Austrian any more it was sold out to LUFTHANSA after a dubious bidding procedure. Seems all creativity in my country was consumed finding shelter in the European Union and below some German enterprises. And Air New Zealand still is 52 % State Owned and flourishing, whereas our "topdogs" decleared state-ownership the source of all evils.
Kind regards
Walter
