OK .... it is assumed most people know precisely what they're searching for in the first instance. I feel everything is adequately branded on each "AIRCRAFT TYPE" page with respective "BASE PACKS" and "TEXTURES" for each aircraft type then listed on their respective pages by order of "AIRLINE".Searching the individual pages is far less of a mission now than it ever was previously under the old alphabetical listing system .... and will be even easier once everyone becomes more acquainted with the new layout. I really feel the manner in which everything's presented is "quite adequate". Personally .... I'm not keen to maintain the old "AIRLINE/AIRCRAFT BY LIST" of the past. It was a bastard of a thing to have to constantly update .... being as busy with our own private lives as we often are behind the scenes here as well. We try to keep things as simple and unimposing as possible for everyone .... ourselves included. If anyone's confused about what to do, or, wants to know if a particular livery for a particular aircraft type is available .... then they're most welcome to ask. One of us will be only too pleased to try to advise accordingly Mark C AKL/NZ

Thanks, Nick. Mark felt so sorry for me that he emailed me the textures so I didn't have to wait ;D
You are all very nice people. Thank you.

I appologize if this is a silly question, but when I look at the 707's the base pack is always version 5.0, where can i find the version 6.0 paints?

There is now a "VERSION 6 B707-320B MODEL" (see the above "AIR LANKA HEADS UP" posting), but, so far only 1 texture available for it .... "AIR LANKA".Some of you are possibly wondering whether or not V5 textures can be used with the new V6 models (B707-320B, B707-320C, B707-323C only soo far). From my recent experiments the answer is "YES" they may .... but .... V5 textures used on V6 models may reveal a small non-textured area on the lower fuselage between wings and on a tiny piece of leading edge wing/fuselage root. Other than that I've not observed any issues and everything else seems perfectly compatible. The current V5 B707-320B, -320C, & -323C textures will be upgraded to the new V6 models .... but .... with so many aircraft to attend to, and so few members available to do the work, it's not going to happen overnight. We'll keep you informed anyway Mark C AKL/NZ

Dead/erroneous linking: Convair 990A, APSA Aerolineas Perana and Area Ecuador leads to the same file!
1965 - N1809E - DC-8-62 Textures by Michael Verlin Last Updated: 05 Jun 2006 leads to a picture, not a file!
