Just downloaded all three of the DC10-10 base pack files and my virus scanner allowed it I then virus checked all three and again no problems reported. My virus checker suit is Webroot and very fussy on files, so I cannot see a problem with these, is anyone else having any issues??

You say you are doing this from "work"? Is it possible your IT dept. has due to the latest rounds of hackings, tightened up your systems protection, by not allowing some things thru from your main server? Just wondering. Falcon

Thanks Denny .... you stole my thunder
Considering he mentions "WORK" (meaning at/from a work/busines related/based PC .... I presume) I was about to suggest something similar myself .... along the lines of tighter security protocols having possibly been implemented from his business base.
Strange though he sais he experienced this particular issue in regard to the DC9-10 downloads page .... but not the B727's !!!!
I'm not experiencing anything untoweard myself from these .... or any other HJG downloads page.

Sorry Mark, I didn't mean to steal your thunder, I'm not professing to be an expert on any of this, just some knowledge,(which some say is dangerous) from experience. I also can understand, if it is the Network IT dept., setting the system to not accept pages with some words or characters. I've glanced at both but would take forever to what is on the DC9-10 page and not on the B727 pages. I will now bow out to the experts in FS community. Denny Aka Falcon

I was thinking along the same lines of the IT folks doing something in the security protocols here (yes I use my work system as the home one was a dial up phone line - dropped due to the low performance - only option is DSL over the same phone line). Did a bit more detailed check this morning and for some reason ONLY the panel files seem to trigger the denial of access. I was able to access the basic airframe and textures. Additionally, if I am in the download area and try to move over to the forum I get the same denial of access. Yet if I come in from the outside and go directly to the forum, no problems.

I think the same .... as has been "suggested" above .... would still apply "DUTCHMAN2". "AT A GUESS" (only) .... since I'm not an IT specialist by any stretch of the imagination .... As security utilities generally interrogate the content of any file .... I "assume" some, based on their settings, might prevent a file from being downloaded, and even probably go so far as to block a web page/web site too, in cases where non standard files/components (as might accompany any panel file) are detected. I assume .... it's not because there's anything wrong with the file content, but rather, it's just that the security utility can't verify the integrety of what's been detected .... and therefore prevents/blocks it .... is my "GUESS". At work .... most businesses want staff "WORKING" .... rather than surfing the net/web or using company machines to their personal advantage/gain regardless of any staff privilleges/liberties extended or tolerated. I'm "NOT" saying this's the case in your particular case .... or even accusing you as such .... BUT .... it "IS" a fact that some companies, now, do take preventative measures .... since the cost, to some, of lost staff productivity and/or sorting out/repairing infected or otherwise compromised systems (not to mention the purchasing of advanced security programs/utilities too), can be quite astronomical. So all I can add here and in accordance with my most often repeated phrase here .... "I'M NOT AWARE OF ANY PARTICULAR PROBLEM EXISTING" .... at least not on our end Mark C AKL/NZ

I originally posted to see if it was an issue on my end or not. It appears that it was an "over-zealous" setting in some new e-mail/internet software. We (the company) had difficulty with internet access and e-mail at the end of last week at the same time as this problem started. It appears that they have adjusted things as, fortunately, I was able to access DC-8/9 panels yesterday afternoon.
This is where I go on break..........reminds me of the good old days in this biz.

Where I work, I can't access HJG at all! The company blocks all gaming sites. In this case its Simviation it bans. Gauges and quite a few custom DLL's can produce false positive's ESET seems to quickly correct this when it happens. All part of life Paul
