Been flying the CV 990's lately and came up with a couple of questions\suggestions. The Area CV990A requires a correction to the aircraft cfg. as shown in the ss. ie. texture...the e is missing in texture which causes the aircraft not to show up in FS aircraft menu.   On this Denver Ports of Call CV990A....the engine intakes do not seem quite right I think??  Herman |

I´ve had a look at both DENVER PORTS OF CALL CV990-A textures.
I had to download and reimnstall these in order to be able to do so.
I ran into the same minor engine interior display texture issues as you´ve reportrd using the 1984 texture version .... BUT .... the 1978 texture version is perfectly OK.
This engine interior texture issue is easy to fix though .... as follows ....
1. Download the DENVER PORTS OF CALL 1974 texture .... or .... open any other CV990-CV990-A texture you currently have installed and that doesn´t exhibit this particular texture display issue.
2. Identify the "INTAKE_T" texture BMP (only) .... and copy it across to the affected 1984 DENVER PORTs OF CALL (and any other CV9907CXCV990-A txture set exhibiting this same issue) .... and select "YES/OK" to the overwrite prompt.
This "WILL"/should resolve this particture engine interior texture display issue completely .... in fact this particulat action has done so for me.
I don´t know why there´s a differnce .... only that there does appear to be a difference with the formatting of this INTAKE T txture BMP in some CV9907CV990-A texture sets that´sd causing the problem.
Tony mighht lik to to a qyuick CFG edit for the AREA aircraft .... when he has time to do so .... and maybe also attnd to this particular 1984 DENVER PORTS OF CALL CV990-A txture issue at th same time also.
