"WELCOME" to our first website update for 2017 .... a year during which HJG "hope to" further expand its virtual flightline through new project releases .... some of which by now may be common knowledge whilst others might come as complete surprises

We'll see what the year brings

Within this website update .... and thanks firstly to Jon MURCHISON .... and secondly to the efforts of our very own Paul HAAK, Tony MADGE, Mike MONCE, and Benoit PLAMONDON .... we´ve great pleasure releasing our "NEW" ARJ and BAe aircraft project featuring all major variants of these Avro and British Aerospace produced "Wisperliner" jetliners (including some lesser known developmental concepts of these aircraft which despite having been built, and flown, never actually entered production) .... as represented per following 12 aircraft type specific base packs and their 15 "NEW" 2017 produced 3D models and customized FDE ....

In addition to the above new models and FDE .... we're also releasing a repackaged version of our original analogue display featured BAe panel and a "NEW" semi-EFIS type ARJ specific panel too (featuring some minor improvements) .... both by Mathias LEIBERECHT; "NEW" and extremly high-quality ARJ/BAe aircraft soundpacks (separate FS2004 and FSX versions) for use with each of these simulations .... by Benoit PLAMONDON; along with a selection of "NEW" textures representing the identities of both civil and military operators of these aircraft, both past and present, and from around the globe since the early 1980's.

This's a project HJG's been fully intending to complete since 2007 .... when we introduced our original BAe 146-300 and RJ-100 offerings .... but which .... for reasons of model compilation difficulties beyond our control at that time .... had to be shelved. Thanks to the "kind" co-operation of Jon MURCHISON, and the "dogged determination" of our own Paul HAAK, these earlier issues have been resolved and we're now fortunate enough to be able to offer a complete family of these aircraft .... which we hope most will enjoy given they fly "SO BLOODY WELL".

Just a few explanatory notes about this project ....

1. The location of all aircraft base packs, panels, soundpacks, and textures for each of these these simulations is clearly stated within the above website update announcement .... please pay attention to these details.

2. Aircraft Base Packs for the BAe 146-100 STATESMAN CC2 MK1/2/3, BAe 146-100 STA MSL/MT, and [/b]BAe 146-200 QC C3[/b] (each of these 3 base packs only) are composed of their 3D models, default Panel and Sound folder assignments (both of which may be swapped-out for our recommended custom panel and sound assignments), FDE, and each of their respective textures too. The very limited number of real world liveries applicable to these particular aircraft versions is the reason for this type of composition .... it's better to plonk everything into the same base pack and offer these particular subjects as more-or-less complete stand-alone packages.

3. Aircraft Base Packs for the Avro RJ-85, Avro RJ-100, BAe 146-200, BAe 146-200 QT, BAe 146-300, and BAe 146-300 QT (each of these 6 base packs only) each contain an "ADDITIONAL TEXTURES" package. It shouldn't be necessary to apply the contents of these packages to any HJG supplied texture .... however .... these contents must be applied to any "non-HJG" supplied texture based on "original versions" of these models by Jon MURCHISON .... thereby enabling these older non-HJG produced textures to be adapted to these new HJG supplied models .... pay attention to the installation instructions contained within each aircraft base pack file in respect of these particular details please.

4. The ARJ and BAe panel options by Mathias LEIBERECHT are fairly "procedures intense" .... given that a home based familiaration tool (for BAe/ARJ pilots) is precisely what these panels were intended to be. If procedures/complexity is not ones cup of tea .... then please .... avoid using these panels. Other ARJ/BAe aircraft type panel options are available from AVSIM.COM, FLIGHTSIM.COM, and SIMVIATION.COM .... but do bear in mind .... we "WILL NOT" be able to provide support for any non-HJG produced files applied to any of our own simulations The Mathias LEIBERECHT authored ARJ and BAe panels, offered by HJG, have always been "the official" panel options for these simulations since 2007. Despite being procedures intense these panels "ARE NOT" difficult to use though .... once mastered .... and it doesn't take long, at all, to learn them .... and once learned each is "AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE" to fly. To aid ones understanding of these panels, and getting the most enjoyment out of them too, Mathias LEIBERECHT has compiled extensive and "very easy to comprehend" PDF manuals which accompany each panel file, and which are indexed to describe "ALL" instrumentation in detail. In addition to these superb manuals we also offer our own supplementary guides/turorials which not only advise in regard to the files we associate with these simulations (panel, sound, aircraft base pack, and texture assignments etc .... and their installation) .... but also .... tutor in regard to engine startup, panel systems configuration, and the basic flying procedures (which do differ among these simulations) recommended for each of the 12 ARJ/BAe aircraft types currently offered by HJG. Whatever the official manuals lack .... if anything .... is more than adequately covered within our own supplementary guides and vice-versa, so, these simulations/panels are now supported by one of the best technical information bases we currently have to offer .... please use "ALL" of this data.

So then .... "here they are" folks .... late .... but .... "here finally" .... HJG's completed ARJ/BAe project featuring both the Avro and British Aerospace produced family of these "Wisperliner" jetliners .... hardly aircraft that "fill the skies with noise and smoke", but still, a very successful, quiet and economic, short range, short field, and environmentally friendly classic from the 1980's, and one which is now currently nearing the end of its in-service life within many parts of the world.
