On the the model, when I press the spoiler key, both rear mounted and wing spoilers extend. I thought they were a seperate animation?

You don't state which model/aircraft base pack or panel you're using .... ours or other options .... ? Unless you're using the panels we provide then I can't really advise you .... as the engineering of another panel option may result in some features within our simulations possibly not functioning as we intend. Using the ARJ/BAe panels we provide the general rule is "DO NOT USE THE FS SPOILER COMMAND" .... backslash (/) keyboard command .... as is clearly stated within our forum based online manual. The Wing Spoilers should not be used inflight on ARJ/BAe aircraft anyway .... and which is partly the foundation for our following procedures .... which "differ" between both ARJ and BAe aircraft type simulations because the programming of the Air Brake lever (which also governs the Wing Spoiler animation too) within each of these panels is "different". Using the ARJ panel we offer .... the Spoiler Arm lever must be manually set to its "OUT" detente only (not maximum/fully down) .... which will in turn deploy the the rear fuselage Air Brake doors only .... and then auto-deploy Wing Spoilers upon ground contact. Using the ARJ panel we offer .... and with our ARJ specific aircraft base pack FDE also .... the Wing Spoilers "will" deploy inflight if the standard FS Wing Spolier command is used .... so .... "DO NOT" use this procedure with this particular simulation. Using the BAe panel we offer .... the Spoiler Arm lever must be manually set to its maximum/fully down "LIFT SPLR" detente .... which will (once again) in turn deploy the the rear fuselage Air Brake doors only .... and then auto-deploy Wing Spoilers upon ground contact. Using the BAe panel we offer .... and with our BAe specific aircraft base pack FDE also .... the standard FS Wing Spoiler command "can" used to deploy the rear fuselage Air Brake doors without triggering the Wing Spoilers since these "cannot" be deployed inflight using this BAe simulation. Again .... the wIng Spoilers are not supposed to be used inflight. Refer to section "2.08" of our forum based online manual for full explanation in regard to the ARJ Air Brake/Wing Spoiler operation. Refer to section "3.08" of our foum based online manual for full explanation in regard to the BAe Air Brake/Wing Spoiler operation. ARJ/BAe PANELS INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES/ HJG Forum Based Online ARJ/BAe Manualtonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/8501/arj-panel-installation-handling-notesAgain .... Both the ARJ and BAe panels are "different" .... and so are procedures which govern some of the functions and animations represented within each. For this reason it is essential to use the ARJ panel with the ARJ base packs only .... and use the BAe panel with the BAe base packs only .... and same applies also in respect of the 2 soundpacks for these simulations too. Failure to do so will absolutely guarantee problems.Once again .... I can't assist, at all, in the event you're not using the panels we provide as their performance within these simulations (influenced by our own FDE .... which is quite different from that of other/previous versions) is "unknown". We can only support what we provide here .... or otherwise recommend from experience. Mark C AKL/NZ

Thanks mark for that detailed explanation.
Also I noticed there's an issue with the landing light bulbs on the outside, they seem to be out of place

Not according to what I'm seeing .... The lamp lenses are mostly visible "from certain axis of external view only" .... and which is precisely how they're intended to appear. Mark C AKL/NZ

I mean the light that appears on the leading edge when it should be in the casing, should it not?

As previously explained .... What's represented and as is also illustrated above .... is the way it's all intended to work and should appear.
