Hey guys, just wanted to say "Thank you" for all that y'all do. The quality that is put into the modeling and painting is outstanding. The variety is beyond amazing. When I found out you guys were working on the 737-100/-200 series I about lost it (in a good way). I've pretty much self-taught myself to do repaints and other things and I look forward to being able to repaint some of these aircraft in the future, with permission, of course.
Looking at these aircraft I have a sense of nostalgia. My dad worked for Delta, so, when I was younger I had plenty of opportunity to non-rev, really, whenever I felt like it. Most of the time it was a 727 routing OKC-ATL-OKC, but every once in a while the equipment was a 737-200. Eventually the MD-88 replaced those two on that route (at the time). I can remember sitting in the first class section of a 727 and thinking to myself how I wish Delta would put another aircraft on that route. Little did I know that once Delta took the 727/732 off the route that was it. I an remember (barely) flying on baby 9's, Western DC-10's (during the Delta/Western Merger) and L1011's, which was probably my favorite to fly on. A non-revs dream, there was always space on an L1011.
