Fantastic Michael, I had fun watching. I’ve just been so busy lately, I haven’t had any FS time let alone video production time.
Cheers,
Nathan

"PENNILESS" and "BROKENHEARTED" too .... I bet I've "never" uses the MSFS generated ATC either .... because I think is "sucks" And I was never able to acquire the PRO-FLIGHT derived ATC & AVENTURES compiling add-on program for FS2004 use (it wasn't called PRO-FLIGHT by the time it was developed by another company and recompiled for FS2004, but, in essence it remained the same/similar) and which did .... "if used properly" .... randomly generate good ATC handling over any flight planned route. Mark C AKL/NZ

Radar Contact is a great ATC addon. I've used it for years and has no effect on frame rates.

Yes, I agree with Mike, once you get used to the slightly synthesised voices, Radar Contact (RCv4) is brilliant. I couldn’t recommend it more. It does take a couple of days to get the license (some people have waited a week or two) but it is highly worth the wait. Also it works in both FS2004 and FSX at the same time. Radar Contact v4 Cheers, Nathan

Hello,
Herman, I am using the default ATC sometimes in my Videos, but only concernig the AI traffic. I create this traffic by myself with a small programm (AIFP3.0) AI Flight Planner. I get rid of all the default AI and making flightplan only for a Video Advantures. Here i can choose all the AC I have installed on FS. The default ATC makes it sometime difficult to create Adventure and as Mark says "it sucks" and is boring. So thank you for the hint with Radar Contact programm. I will check this out. By the way, is RC overwriting a present FSUIPC version installed? Thank you all for watching my Video and your comments and hints.
Saludos

OK....thank you for your comments and suggestions. I realize that the emphasis is on the video and the aircraft.
What I have noticed when using the MSFS default video's, it never seems to broadcast the ATC messages. I can hear the engine sounds but no ATC messages. I suppose that is the way it is in FS and ATC sound is just not part of the MS video program.
Perhaps you more serious video producers have additional software that does allow ATC sound as part of the video.??

OOH .... yest it "IS" .... but .... only if one "desires to make part of such" .... as is evident in the following recent video by Benoit .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWdng7wwec4&t=90sIt's just that some people don't like/care for it Benoit's "experimenting" in the above linked video Mark C AKL/NZ

Ahhh yes Mark. I recall seeing that video, and that is exactly why I was curious as to why I am not getting any ATC transmissions when I am recording a video using the default FS system.
That is actually the reason I suspected that perhaps Bennoit, Nathan and Micheal are using separate software and are not using the default FS video recording system provided.

Hi All!
Glad you all enjoyed this Video. Herman, We are mostly using the FS Recorder (available for FSX and FS9) to record the flights with this external progamm. On replay we shot the video again with FRAPS software programm. After all we editing the Video with varios software available. (For me MS Movie Maker is fine). There you can put all other files into the video (Sound files etc)
On my next upload a little later on I have a nice suprise for you.. Just tried something out.
Again thank you all
Michael
