So last xmas I got a great present from my daughters for 90 min in a full 737 sim. While not a full motion sim, it is certified by Boeing and can/and is used for training. The company is www.flightexperience.com And to acknowledge Mark, it's a New Zealand based company. I did my flight out of their office in Burlington, Mass; just outside Boston in March
I came in thinking I wanted to do a specific route, but the instructor said let's do several phases. I was a bit disappointed, but in hindsight I think he was right as I needed to get more comfortable and familiar with the sim and the differences between the real thing and computer based panel and avionics. I had spent some time doing some practice flights using a fairly realistic 737-800 panel I had installed on my 737-800 I have on MSFS. The flight is divided into 3 segments: 1) KBOS to KJFK with full stop landing, 2) flying the infamous river approach to KDCA (I've done it before many times in MSFS, but not in at least a couple of years); this had a T&G, which lead to phase 3) ILS approach to KEDW, about 800 ft ceiling.
At least for me, the most fun you can have with your pants on I plan on doing a second flight in mid August. This next time I'm going to come in with a complete flight plan, ask to program the FMC myself (with help I'm sure), and then do the flight and set the arrival for an ILS.
The sim uses projectmagenta as it's avionics engine, and Active Sky for weather though not connected to the internet, so not real time weather. The biggest drawback is lack of ATC. The instructor said they were looking into vatsim, and I suggested Radar Contact.
Here's the link to the video of the flight. Many thanks to my older daughter, Lauren, who edited the video down from 90min to less than an hour, and to my younger daughter Nicole, for use of her youtube account.

Let me know of any questions!
