YEAH .... but we can just "take it" and "do it". "Everything" .... has to be properly negotiated and an agreement formulated. As I (personally) have stated a couple of times already throughout this thread .... it would be nice, and I/we would like to do it (maybe), but again, it's all got to be done "respectfully/properly" .... or we simply don't do it at all What I'm really saying is .... I/we don't want to be getting peoples hopes up .... unnecessarily Mark C AKL/NZ

"IF" .... someone else has done it, or is currently doing it, then I (personally) would opt to step back from it .... since there's no point in 2 (or more) parties doing the same thing.
Amalgamating projects between developers .... like "IS" the case in regard to a couple of projects we already offer that aren't HJG productions, can work, but, only in "exceptional circumstances" .... as "IS INDEED" the case in regard to those external projects already amalgamated into what HJG offers.
I've also (today) seen evidence of another F-28 project .... under a similar name as the original .... BUT .... I don't think it's related to the original project which form this discussion.

This thread prompted me to revisit my Project Fokkers. I now have slightly more experience editing panels than was the case when I last tweaked these crafts for my personal use. I'm now working on tweaking them further, since there had always been certain aspects I didn't like about the final result I've been living with till now. I basically want to have the aircraft unchanged (V2, which is the latest version), upgraded with the "V3 Add-on" which brings certain improvements and upgrades such as autoland, fixing broken light controls and N1-controlled smoke coming out of the exhaust, but I also want to have the superior gauges present in Hamed Bahmani's panel. Now I could simply apply Hamed Bahmani's panel (which is the same one offered by Project Fokker, but modified by several third-party authors including Bahmani, who applied those nice gauges) however, the problem is that that panel doesn't include all the goodies brought by the "V3 Add-on" despite including the necessary gauges, and it also includes certain modifications to the main panel bitmap I don't like, such as the upper light switches, which are broken anyway (buttons linked to wrong lights). So what I now did was to simply take the original package, apply the "V3 Add-on", and then install Hamed Bahmani's gauges on top myself. So that would result in having the latest Project Fokker-sanctioned bells and whistles fully functional plus Hamed Bahmani's gorgeous, much more realistic gauges all at the same time, working in harmony . But one needs to know what gauges to include, replace or get rid of, and what lines to include, omit or modify. I had to tweak the main panel bitmap in Gimp (a freeware alternative to Photoshop) to make the gauges fit properly, tweak a couple of sound files to have click sounds, and work hard and carefully with the gauges and the panel configuration...and after a few days working on it, it seems I got it just right. Now I want to see if there are any better sound sets available for Fokker's Rolls Royce Tay powerplants. This is how the Project Fokker-sanctioned latest version of F70/100 looks like: This is how Hamed Bahmani's panel looks like: And this is how my tweak looks like (you've got to be familiar with the panel to see the differences, most of which are not noticeable anyway since it's mostly about functionality): Hamed Bahmani's panel also comes with these breathtaking wingviews, which I also included in "my" final product:
