Same as explained above also applies to our MD-81, MD-82, MD-83, MD-87, MD-88, and MD-90 3D models .... and their wingtip navigation lights (both lighting and housing) and static discharger features too.
These features, on these models, all/should all appear precisely the same within FS2004 and FSX .... as follows ....
MD-81
MD-82
MD-83
MD-88
These models were actually constructed in accordance with later FS technology than is the case with our DC-10's (despite their more recent modification) .... but .... cannot be modified, at all (even if they did require it), due to their model source code not now being accessible by us.
Once again .... although these models are "FS2004 native" they are also "FSX compatible too
Just digressing slightly for a moment once again .... and again only for the benefit of any new comers reading this report ....
PLEASE NOTE: The panels we currently provide for these simulations "ARE NOT" FSX compatible. Our MD-80/90 simulations (base packs, FDE, models, and textures) are both FS2004 and FSX compatible though .... with no known limitations in regard to any of their display features .... HOWEVER .... I understand (1) the portable air stairs animation (at DOOR 1L .... controlled by the CONCORDE VISOR keyboard command/s which must be manually activated within FS assignments) can't work in FSX due to this animation being configured to work differently in FSX .... and (2) there's also an incompatibility with some external lighting on these MD models but only in regard to using the semi-EFIS SPADA panel version .... although no such issue/s exist among the 2 GOLDING or the SOUTHEY MD panel versions when used with these same models. Also .... our MD-80 and MD-90 soundpacks are "FS2004" compatible only too. There are no planned FSX revisions for any of these simulations.
