Has anyone here been experiencing any difficulties trying to use this forum (only .... not the website or any of its content) during the past few days ?
If so please briefly describe your experience below.
Again this is in regard to "the forum only and not the website" .... since both are entirely separate.

Mark, none observed here from KMOD, US west coast. Unlike some sites, it doesn't go into sleep mode while backups are running at 2 am. I'm able to access this site 24/7..

Hi, No problems for the forums here, but over at simviation.com//hjg/downloads.htm, service is very sporadic, been so all weekend. Connections just time out, after several tries, it sometimes works, and then it's gone again... There's a few other sites I can't reach either, European and US. I'm in Belgium. Regards, DDP.

Thanks everyone .... those of you whom have taken the time to confirm not experiencing any issues "with the forum". Thanks also to those whom didn't contribute .... because that seems to further emphasize no issue/s exist otherwise I'm sure we'd have heard all about it from you. Don't think we need any further reports .... since I'm quite satisfied now that there's no forum issues needing to be addressed .... at least not that can be reconciled by us. We take this opportunity to remind everyone though and advise as follows .... Attachments "CANNOT" be upload with postings on this forum. This feature has been "intentionally disabled". All attachments (uploaded prior to this prohibition) have been "deleted". This feature "will not" be reinstated in the future. Not talking about the website/uploads .... just the forum only in the case of this particular thread/posting A timeout can happen to anyone, anywhere, and at any time too .... even under the most favourable of circumstances. It can be caused by any number of factors (which we, and our host/SIMVIATION.COM, have no control over) .... among which internet connections/service and browser types can be predominant causes .... and such experiences can also predominate within/from some regions too due to routing etc. I 'd be inclined toward possibly looking at your service .... because even from the other side of this planet (both Colombia and NZ) I experience no difficulties "at all" accessing our own website or any of its content. Start a separate thread in regard to this issue .... if you wish (but my answer will remain the same though) .... since this particular thread is in regard to "the forum only" Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO

No further reports necessary folks.
I think we've now successfully established all we need to know.
Just bear-in-mind my following and above stated remark and all should be fine ....
Again .... no further input is necessary.

All's well Ben.
It's seems there was never any general issue to start with, but, it was prudence, on our part, to try'n determine that .... per this thread.

Hi friends:
Today the annoying warning disappeared: I am back again with you. What I have done is: Staying for the moment in Mexico I changed my PROXY setting to "recognize automatically" and BINGO!
Kind regards
Walter
