The IL-18 D could fly out of MMMX 7200 ft msl with max 56,5 to Gross-wheight at a standart day and would need 3500 m of runway. The CUBANA flight was overwheight, but it still managed to fly out safely: and now cruising ov the Gulf of Mexico using Dopplerradar and VOR navigation, also a KING KLN 90B was available. With that fuel burn it could fly still 6700 km. The IL-18 D was a capable machine, not only safe and sturdent, but also did hold various world récords for speed and payload. More than 800 IL-18s were built. Kind regards Walter

Your first video here .... Isn't it Walter ? I quite enjoyed that Hope you'll make some more of these videos .... using classic jetliner of the former Soviet block. Just as a matter of "curiosity" .... Where did you get the German language callouts ? Mark C AKL/NZ

HI:
Thanks for your kind words. Yes it is my first FS9 video and it is posible due to WIN 10s function of the X-BOX emulation built into WIN 10. So there is something good in WIN 10. Regarding the crew-sounds: I have published reworked Tu-124 for AEROFLOT, INTERFLUG and INDIAN ARMY. The Aeroflot crew speaks Russian, the INTERFLUG crew German and the INDIAN ARMYs crew speaks ENGLISH. Other Russian simulations like the TU-154 have Russian crewsounds with an English translation in the PT manual. The .wav files I used as basis for my English and German crewsounds, the voice is mine. The German crewsounds follow the German callouts as defined by the INTERFLUG handbook for the IL-62. ("FZHIL62"). As an example: Russian: "PODIJOM!" English "ROTATE!" German "ABHEBEN!" The crewsounds are integrated by a gauge into the panel, which coordinates the panels other gauges to trigger the relevant callout. The difficult part was to find where to put the wav files and how to trigger the different languages. The last made it necessary to have different airplanes for every language and not only differnt repaints.
I started my video-production with the Tu-124 as it is easy and wunderful to fly once you have the "numbers" ready. Handflying it is a pure joy, so my flying shines better as it really is.
Kind regards
Walter
