After a long hiatus, I found the time to perform a flight today. I performed the first leg of KL767 from the 1971 schedule. This was a multi-legged Super DC-8 flight from Amsterdam to Curacao. I'll fly only the first leg using HJG's own DC-8-63 in KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 1968 colors, registered PH-DEC. The screenshots will start from cruise as I'd forgotten to grab pics due to takeoff and climbout being extremely busy hand flying the plane and leafing through manuals.
Cruising over Germany
Descending. Flaps down.
Maneuvering for the ILS approach.
Such a beautiful plane and paint scheme.
Established on ILS 07L. 3nm out.
Landed and taxiing to gate.
Parked at the gate.
The flight was flown on FSX online on VATSIM for Air France/ KLM Virtual Airlines. The PIREP for the flight can be found here: www.afva.net/pirep.do?id=0x2c200 Fuel burn was only about 200kgs more than calculated on simbrief.com.
