**** UPDATED PRESENTATION ****Although "WHAT IF/FAKE/CONCEPT" liveries aren't really my cup of coffee .... some "DO" like them though I/we do appreciate The following are a selection of such livety "CONCEPTS" (only) worked up by Sabi and for the HJG hosted DMFS VC10's .... each based on real world period liveries featuring AIR NEW ZEALAND, CANADIAN PACIFIC AIRLINES, CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS, QANTAS AIRWAYS, TEAL, and TRANS CANADA AIRLINES .... for the DMFS VC10 1101, 1103 COMBI/CONVERTIBLE, SUPER 1151, and SUPER 1154 COMBI/CONVERTIBLE models. Each of the following aircraft type/livery selections being based on the VC10 configurations most closely matching those of the B707-320B/C and DC-8-50 aircraft these operators ended up acquiring. PLEASE NOTE: SOME DETAILS WITHIN THE FOLLOWING PRESENTATIONS MAY CHANGE PRIOR TO RELEASE.VC10 1101AIR NEW ZEALAND 1966 LIVERY CONCEPT CANADIAN PACIFIC AIRLINES 1962 LIVERY CONCEPT (redone) CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS 1967 LIVERY CONCEPT CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS 1971 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1962 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1964 LIVERY CONCEPT TEAL/TASMAN EMPIRE AIRWAYS LTD 1962 LIVERY CONCEPT TEAL/AIR NEW ZEALAND (transitional) 1965 LIVERY CONCEPT TRANS CANADA AIRLlNES 1962 LIVERY CONCEPT VC10 1103 COMBI/CONVERTIBLEQANTAS AIRWAYS 1962 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1963 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1964 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1975 LIVERY CONCEPT SUPER VC10 1151AIR NEW ZEALAND 1966 LIVERY CONCEPT CANADIAN PACIFOC AIRWAYS 1964 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1965 LIVERY CONCEPT TEAL/AIR NEW ZEALAND 1965 (transitional) LIVERY CONCEPT SUPER VC10 1154 COMBI/CONVERTIBLECATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS 1971 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1965 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1971 LIVERY CONCEPT QANTAS AIRWAYS 1975 LIVERY CONCEPT Neither of these carriers ever operated VC10's (deliveries of the aircraft commenced too late .... and by which time each were operating either B707's, CV880's, or DC-8's), but, each being representative of countries/states under either British control/political and economic influence during the 1960's, whom knows what might have transpired .... had the dice not rolled so firmly in favor of BOEING and its B707 and DOUGLAS and its DC-8. I've just updated the "WHAT IF" CATHAY PACIFIC AIRWAYS and QANTAS AIRWAYS section of these presentations .... by "sabi". The above images of each subject is "ENTIRELY NEW". As interest in these subjects seems to be somewhat greater than was originally anticipated "Sabi's" decided to expand this subject theme "a bit" .... to now representation each of the primary DMFS VC10 aircraft type subjects we offer here (VC10 1101, 1103 COMBI/CONVERTIBLE, SUPER 1151, and SUPER 1154 COMBI/CONVERTIBLE) .... and to also represent some of the period livery changes each of these 2 operators employed between 1962 and 1971. A couple more subjects may be added to this selection .... I'm leaving that entirely up to "Sabi" though, so, we'll just sit tight and see what happens Mark C AKL/NZ

Had to re-do the above 3 CX period livery concepts .... since I made a mistake with the original tails, and "Sabi" decided to add another period livery detail to each of these 3, and which (along with the QF concepts so far presented) I'm confident can now be regarded as the "definitive" items. Also added a couple more "CONCEPT" liveries too (this time to the tune of "OH CANADA" ) .... as can now be seen above also. Probably a couple of fine tuning edits required yet for each of these 2 fictional Canadian's though. Mark C AKL/NZ

Just added a selection of additional fantasy VC10 liveries to the above presentation of these .... this time featuring AIR NEW ZEALAND (1966), TEAL (1962), and TEAL/AIR NEW ZEALAND (1965 transitional) for the VC10 1101; AIR NEW ZEALAND (1966) and TEAL/AIR NEW ZEALAND (1965 transitional) for the SUPER VC10 1151: and QANTAS AIRWAYS (1975) for the VC10 1154 COMBI/CONVERTIBLE. Again .... all of these are "fictitious", but, otherwise on the period liveries of each of these (and all the other represented) operators. Some of these operators "DID" in fact seriously consider VC10 equipment as they transitioned from props and turboprops into the pure jet age, but, ultimately ended up acquiring B707's and DC-8's instead. Not everything within this thread is a flight of fantasy though .... since the earlier presented SAUDIA B720-B and INDIAN AIRLINES CARAVELLE VIN are indeed "REAL WORLD" subjects and which are also now being accompanied by the following "NEW" B720-B subject too .... PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES B720-047B AP-AMG (1961) delivery schemeA great effort "Sabi" .... for what's slowly assembling to become a collection of very nice and "historic" HJG additions Mark C AKL/NZ

In a a rush at the moment .... "time simply "IS NOT" in my favor lately, but hey, "shi-yet happens" ANYWAY .... Just added 3 more (2 more new one's at least) "WHAT IF/FICTICIOUIS" subjects to the "VC10 1101, VC10-1103, and SUPER VC10 1151 sections of the above presentation .... these being a "re-do" of the CP 1962 1101 livery, a new 1103 combi/convertible in the 1975 QF livery, and a SUPER 1151 in the 1964 CP livery. Thanks "Sabi" Apart from some unrelated fixed textures fixes I'm trying to get released in advance our next website update these may be the last I can present for a bit .... just see how we go Mark C AKL/NZ
