"WELCOME" once again folks .... this time to HJG's second primary website update for this 2022 year.

These latest offerings are composed of some 76X "NEW" textures (including 7X recently upgraded) for the virtual B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, BAe 146/ARJ, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, DH106 COMET, L-1011 TRISTAR, MD-90 flight lines hosted by HJG.

Just 4 items/reminders before getting into the guts of the what's been put where and why courtesy advisories of this orientation ....


1. 1. Evidence has become apparent here (and elsewhere) to the extent some people are referring to the DMFS simulation as HJG projects. PLEASE NOTE: The DMFS flight line "MUST NOT" be referred to as HJG simulations. Kindly afford these products (and their rightful owner .... David MALTBY) their correct acknowledgement by honoring/referring to them as the "DAVID MALTBY FLIGHT SIM BAC ONE-ELEVEN, DH106 COMET, HS121 TRIDENT, and VC-10/C1K" simulations .... hosted by SIMVIATION/HJG. This's a small detail, but, an important one

2. Important model/texture configuration notes relating to a couple of new texture subjects included within this release: PLEASE NOTE .... The GRUMMAN-NORTHROP BAC ONE-ELEVEN is actually a -400 aircraft in reality. We're forced to configure it as a -475 though because the DMFS BAC ONE-ELEVEN "475 RADAR MODEL" bears the closest physical resemblance available for this particular aircraft subject hence its model/base pack assignment. PLEASE NOTE ALSO .... The FLYING TIGERS DC-8 SUPER 63 is intentionally not a CF/F (freighter) configured aircraft subject. It's a standard PAX configured DC-8 SUPER 63 that was leased-in from CANADIAN PACIFIC AIRLINES during 1968 hence its correct and standard DC-8 SUPER 63 model/base pack assignment.

3. "NEW" COMET IV, COMET IVB, and COMET IVC texture download sections have been added to the our DOWNLOADS pages for each of these DMFS aircraft subjects .... into which a selection of new textures/liveries have been uploaded.

One day, sometime in the future, we'll put you, and everyone else too, out of their misery .... "by actually releasing them"

In the meantime we hope patience will be rewarding .... when that hour does eventually come

It was a standard SUPER 63 (not a SUPER 63CF/F) lease-in from CPA, for 1 year, and apparently used for trooping and other supplemental military supply contracts around this period.
