Hi everyone. It's been a while and I'm having some relief from college (calm before the storm honestly) so I've been flying some classic propliners and jetliners these past few days. I've been flying the Saudi Arabian Airlines 720B around 1962 ingame, and I've been looking for real-life photos of these around the web to no avail. Anyone got a link or some old photos of these jets anywhere? There was a link on this forum to some photos, but these seem to have been removed by the original uploaders on Flickr.

R/W photos of the original SAUDIA scheme are hard to find. There a couple of reasons for this and which can apply to any number of other early liveries. It's possible not many people along the SAUDIA route network during the very early 60's specialized in airliner photography .... AND ALSO .... the early scheme didn't last long on the airlines B720-B's. I think what Michael has, and used, for his recent texture came from a publication .... and is how we then arrived at the following representation we offer and which was also aided by other rare (by today's standards) historic references too ... SAUDIA ARABIAN AIRLINES B720-B - delivery scheme 1961By the mid to late 60's the SAUDI B720-B route network had expanded more .... and with that it's possible these aircraft were exposed to greater enthusiast attention as follows .... SAUDIA ARABIAN AIRLINES B720-B - mid to late 1960's schemeSAUDIA ARABIAN AIRLINES B720-B - 1970's schemeBest to just GOOGLE search any "airline name and aircraft type" (and add a registration too if one's aware of such) .... and just see what turns up As I said though .... some early livery R/W photo references are quite difficult to locate and in many case may only "easily" be found in past publications. "IF" presented "HERE" previously then these wouldn't have been removed .... at least not by me. The only time/s material is ever removed from this forum is if it's deemed to be in any way abusive, inflammatory, breaches protocols, or is otherwise potentially causative of problems we neither need nor want. I "DO" remove some of my own FS preview imagery though after a period (to avoid over taxing hosting A/C) and in order to make room for more recent data. Mark C AKL/NZ
