My HJG DC-9-10 crashes to desktop when loading flight.
Windows 10, installed to C drive outside of program files.
Have had previous successful installs but this is a recent new install of FS9.
No issues with other HJG planes.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks Mike

Is you DC-9 simulation set up yo use "our DC-9 Panels" ?
That's all I need to know for the moment.

"YEP" .... you've likely misread the installation instructions which call for each the following actions .... 1. All HJG DC9 Panel Gauges must be installed inside the FS2004 "GAUGES" folder
2. All HJG DC9 Panel Sounds must be installed inside the FS2004 "SOUND" folder .... not the default Sound folder inside the aircraft base pack file !
3.Install the "FSSOUND.DLL" file inside inside the FS2004 "MODULES" folder. The FS9.CFG file must then be located and edited to read precisely as follows .... [OLDMODULES] FSSound.dll=1 PLEASE NOTE .... it is recommended this edit be copied & pasted "as-is" to the FS9 CFG file in order to avoid typographical errors ! This edit is required to eliminate a harmless "Potentially Incompatible Software" warning when FS is started. If confronted with such a warning then this edit will either not have been applied at all or made incorrectly. In this case the panel can still be successfully loaded into FS upon selecting "YES" or "CONTINUE" in response to this warning. 4. Install the "GAUGESOUND.DLL" inside inside the "FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9" folder. No CFG editing is necessary for this file. Those whom experience this particular issue have usually gone wrong in the case of #3 and #4 .... the latter in particular. If the DLL files are installed inside the wrong FS folders then this will cause the DC-9 simulations (using our DC-9 panels) to immediately CTD upon attempting to load these simulations into FS2004. Ensure both DLL files go to their respective (and separate) destination FS folders and this will/should resolve you issue. The installation instructions do clearly state this .... and this instruction is also repeated within "SECTION 8" of the following-linked DC-9 Manual too .... DC-9 MANUALtonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/3435/hjg-panel-installation-handling-notesIn the event the above advice doesn't resolve your issue (though it will do if it's the occasionally repeated installation mistake), then, the issue may be Texture (format) related and I need to know precisely what DC-9 Base Pack, and Texture (please be specific in regard to these particular details), you're using.
