OK.....1st post by a "Newbie" ( guess that's what you call 'em).
I notice various "titles" under the User Names. I can understand Global Moderator and Administrator, but what do 'CV-880', 'CV-880M', and 'DC-8' represent? I don't see a '707' on anyone.

New users are CV-880s. As you post more messages, you move up via CV-880M and CV-990A to DC-8...

Before I became staff I only made it up to DC-8 I don't think anyone has made it up to the 707 rank yet!!! Ben

To reflect the success of the aircaft ;D Ben I'm sure you'd get some arguments on that! I'd be willing to bet there's more DC-8s flying today than 707s. The CFM project was more successful on the -8 also I believe.
