Hi, what a fantastic model. For me it is right up there with the Project Fokker stuff. I fly on the real version of this plane 26 times a year to go to work, and have done so for the past 5 years. I must admit though it is quite an experience the fist few times that you land on short runways. My problem is that whenever i put the file,"ML-146v40HJG.cab" into the gauges folder in FS2004 i have problems, my BAe 146 freezes up for a couple of minutes when it is selected from the, "create a flight"game menu screen. When i remove this file from the folder , it fixes the problem, but obviously i loose some of the functionality of the panel. No other planes in my hangar have the above problem. I have followed the manual to the letter to no avail.
Any suggestions welcome. Thank's

"NO PROBLEM" .... what you're experiencing there is "QUITE NORMAL".
The BAe 146 panel and gauge programming is extremly complex. It will take longer to load .... and also longer to exit too than you may be accustomed to with other FS aircraft .... even on a fast system.
When you experience this (and without this knowledge) you might think that FS has locked-up or encountered a problem, but I assure you, that is not the case.
Just allow your system all the time it needs to load all the required data into FS whenever you fly the BAe 146 .... and allow your system the same freedom too when you change aircraft or exit you BAe 146 flying session.
Hope that helps put your mind at ease !

No problem "NORCO" .... enjoy the BAe 146 .... and keep an eye on this forum as to what further FDE refinements to expect in the future .... as advised per "MNMON".
