I'm going to quickly "CHIME IN" here with my own reply.
Firstly .... to my colleague Dan K.HANSEN I want to say thanks for the manner in which you have patiently tried to manage this thread.
To "BENJAMIN212" I respond as follows ....
You have raised an "ISSUE".
I think we have done our reasonable duty .... as best we can at least .... trying to advise you, but, I also want to stress the following statement made very clear in our PANEL INSTALLATION & AIRCRAFT NOTES which might well apply to your case/issue
It is important to appreciate our B707 panels are relatively complex works of art.
Each has been individually checked for its functionality prior to uploading.
Each panel was noted to perform "FINE" .... or it simply would not be hosted here.
Despite this and our endeavours to bring you the very best classic/historic jetliner "FREEWARE", it is not inconceivable that some folks might encounter difficulties .... perhaps only due to extensive variability between PC systems today rather than their own method of use. Of course we will do our very best to try and assist troubleshooting any issues that may arise, but, we also ask folk appreciate whatever occurrs on one PC system may not be universally experienced on everyone elses.
PLEASE NOTE: The above statement still stands !
In response to your last posting in particular I respond as follows ....
We have provided these for most B707/720/C135 versions .... with a few exceptions to date.
"NOTHING" is wrong with the panel/gauges .... so far as I am concerned and I am perfectly comfortable endorsing that !
As stated above .... "ALL" of these panels were thoroughly tested prior to release. Each was found to run very acceptably on all the various PC systems upon which they were tested (barring minor issues hilited in our INSTALLATION/HANDLING notes) both in FS2004 and FSX which we know about .... and in particular know how to try an avoid.
"IF" .... there was a major problem with any one of these panels/gauges then we simply would not have uploaded them.
A lot of work has been done here by a lot of extremly competent people, but, as with any FS product generally, it is not possible to garuntee faultless performance on 100% of all PC configurations .... for whatever reasons of variability might apply.
This is a well known fact which applies not only to FS products alone .... but .... also to other PC products generally around the world.
I feel you're being somewhat overexpectant in making a remark like that.
You must realise that WINDOWS VISTA is a brand new OS. Any new OS has it's own introduction bugs. A lot folk are reporting issues with VISTA .... for a multitude of different reasons (and this by no means implies the product is no good either) and not just with FS applications alone.
Those issues are going to take time to resolve.
"BENJAMIN212" .... we've done our best to support you. I'm sorry if we cannot resolve your particular issue to your satisfaction, but, I believe we can do little more than we've already done to try and help you.

why can't someone make it compact with FSX vista?
