I thought I would start this board off by asking for help.... Ok I have the following system AMD 64 3800 CPU 2Gb Ram Asus A8N SLI Deluxe motherboard Nvidia 8600GT 256Mb DDR3 3 hard drives SATA Windows XP Home SP2 FS9.1 with lots of addons
I have just upgraded the ram and video card but have the same problem, blurries... ground textures not add on airports or autogen are blurred refresh textures and its great again for a few minutes. this is using all aircraft and at different speeds. I have all sliders at max and all settings at max my Mip level is set to 5 I run FS9 in full screen mode and have the AA application run not in the video card settings. It all ran lovely until recently and now its rubbish.. anyone have the definative cure??

Tony,
Sounds like a driver issue. I know that Nvidia just released a new batch of drivers this week.
I had a similar issue (FS9) and backed the MIP off to 5, but I see that you have already done that. I would also start by turning off filters and see if that helps.
When I tried FSX with DX10 I had the same problem. Turned DX10 off and the blurries went away.

Tony, I use nhancer available here; www.nhancer.com/There is no simple cure and requires a lot of fiddling, but the changes are instantaneous so you do not have to reboot FS9 to make them take place. It took me about 30 minutes to tweak it just right and save a new profile for FS9 as the default nVidia profile is crap. Now, I am a happy bunny.

I can only recommend it... once installed you'll wonder how you could live without it ;-)
Even the default settings do wonders.
