Yup its me again...Sorry..I installed your Boeing 707-700 Jet this morning along with the correct panel and sound...
The Jet loads and flys fine..But there were no cockpit actions.....Until I noticed that under the main panel(I pullud up main panel and saw it) there was a choice to use two panels. However when trying to activate one or the other nothing happens..As if there is no *click* point
Now to the best of my knowledge(I just checked again) everything is installed as per instruction...
Panel in fsfsconf...Checked... Original panel config rewriten to alias the new panel...
So as usual I'm stumped..thanks in advance for any help on this....Mason

I've never heard of this before !
There's an "INTROSCREEN" option to load either CAPT or F/O main panels .... and so far as I'm aware it work fine selecting whenever either option.
On each of the 2 "main panels" there's selection of tabs positioned on the visable portion of the overhead. Using these tabs you can cycle between CAPT, F/O, F/E, pedestall, and overhead sub panels. You can also cycle between sub panels by using SHIFT + 1,2,3,4 etc keyboard command.
Might be a good idea you familiarise yourself with our extensive "B707 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES" posting too on the "ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT" forum page.
You'll find most of the information you need there !

ok, in all my panels the images in the Intro screen are clickable.
But...you don't really need the screen anyway.
What it does, is give provide you with a first choice, of where you want to start (or at least, it would do so if FS9 loaded this as the default panel). Furthermore it changes the eyepoint a little, moving the horizon up, so that you have a good view from behind the Captain's or First Officer's Panel.
As Mark suggested, you could also use the Shift+"number" commands. Here's what they do:
Shift+1 The Intro screen. I advise to always have this active, as it moves the horizon up a little.
Shift+2 Captain's Panel. This is where FS9 puts you when you load the 707. If you want to take the FO seat, use the button labeled 'R'.
Shift+3 FO Panel. Make sure that if you use Shift+3 to take this seat, you also press shift+2 to make the Captain's Panel disappear, otherwise they will be displayed on top of eachother.
Shift+4 Windscreen wipers
Shift+5 Autopilot pop-up
Shift+6 V-Speeds pop-up
If you want to move to the Engineer's Panel, the Pedestal or the overhead Panel, you will have to use the clickable buttons.
I think this will at least let you avoid any problems that you had.
Good luck,
Nils

Thanks Parkcentral..But the intro screen loads behind the main screen..I can bring up all panels with keyboard commands but they are all dead... I even reinstalled and followed directions very carefully again..i coppied and pasted all text entries in their approate places...But all is dead...
However i did notice that the intro screen(hidden behind main panel) says its for a 700-(320) I believe for both FS9 and 2000..
I'm going to hunt for a newer panel..I even read the help in the forums for installing this panel way before I posted this prob...Oh well...Thanks for your advice.....Mason

.. Original panel config rewriten to alias the new panel... Which panel.cfg? The one in the panel.b707-707 folder or the one in the aircraft\panel folder? You shouldn't edit anything in the panel.cfg under the panel.b707-700 folder.... The one you shall edit is the one in your aircraft\panel folder... Are you using FS9 or FSX? XP or Vista? The best B707-700 panel you can get is the one right here at HJG... I've been using it for ages under both fs9 and now in fsx without any problems at all... so it seems like a misunderstanding in the install...
