Hi,
is it possible to get rid of the cabin view and have a wingview instead after installing the nice BAe 146/RJ100, while viewing around to the outside using the num-keys in the flight deck mode in FS9?
I also have the ML-panel 4.2 panel installed wich gives the inside borders of the flight deck while looking around as described above, so it seems like watching trough the flight deck windows. That together with the cabin view makes it a mess.

I'm really more the FDE guy on this, but I'm fairly sure unless you are using the panel from HJG (by Matthias Lieberecht), there's not much we can do to help you out with problems with a non-HJG panel.
As far as the wingview vs cabin views, you will have to wait until Jon who takes care of the models can respond.

the panel I use is indeed a HJG panel, by M Liebb. vers. 4.2.
I try to post a screenshot too.

Sorry, I missed what you meant by "ML-4.2" There may be some items in the panel.cfg that changes views, windows, etc. I'm not at all proficient in that area, so hopefully someone else will give some direction. Mike

I think I may have the same issue as Michaël. When using any of the left or right side views from within the cockpit, I see various bits of the passenger cabin through the cockpit windows.
I'm using Jon's latest 146-300 with version 4 of Matthias Lieberecht's panel and installed both as per the book (I believe!) in FS9.
I have a couple of extra textures from HJG, but the problem is present whatever texture is selected.
Help greatly appreciated!

How come this thread is full of Michaels?? ;D Rgds Ben Hi, that is because you didn't read quite well my message on the board, explaining the view from the cockpit to the outside using the numlock-leys. This is without walking through the cabin while taxiing or flying to have a quick view outside. I.e. while flying online to see other pilots and avoiding collisions. I'v put some screenshots to show the issue: The issue is just to get rid of the cabin view in 2D cockpit mode as the HJG-panel has also windows to look through when not using a virtual cockpit.

Dunno Ben,
but here's a reply for Mike, Mike or Michaël.
If it's the VC view, you can change that in the Aircraft.cfg file, open it and look for this line,
[Views] eyepoint=41.28, -1.98, 3.00
Change it to,
[Views] //eyepoint=41.28, -1.98, 3.00 eyepoint=23.0, -4.5, 1.0 // Seat 3A
This will give you a view from seat 3A which gives you a view of N° 2 engine.
You can't go back any further, as Jon has only modelled the First Class cabin.
If it's the rear and side views when in 2D cockpit mode, I have some somewhere, when I find them I'll post them on the 'BAe Panel Project' forum with instructions on how to implement them.
Regards, ..............Adrian W.

OK, there's no VC yet on the a/c I'm using, but my problem is fixed by tweaking the Aircraft.cfg as follows:
Was: eyepoint=31.0, 0.0, 1.102 Now: eyepoint=45.0, 0.0, 1.102
Hope this helps Michaël.
Thanks to Adrian19 for the pointer.
Mike (yes, really)

Hi Michaël,
I think I just found your problem,
The view in the Aircraft.cfg needs to be in the default position, otherwise when you use the LEFT, RIGHT, REAR LEFT, REAR RIGHT views, etc. You see them from the position set in .cfg file.
Make sure that it reads,
[Views] eyepoint=41.28, -1.98, 3.00
If you get the same thing after moving about the Aircraft in virtual mode, just press the SPACE BAR before returning to 2D mode, this should return you to the default position.
Regards, ..............Adrian W.
