I've just been revising some of your posts of earlier today ....
I'm not an FSX user myself .... but .... it's installation procedures aren't radically different from those of FS2004 (my FS version of choice) .... if at all !
I stand to be corrected here .... but .... I think you'll find that the aircraft inside the SIMOBJECTS folder to which you refer are possibly just AI traffic only.
I believe you should be installing all our/HJG aircraft base packs inside the "AIRCRAFT" folder of FSX.
Put your B707-120 Aircraft Base Pack folder (intact with all its contents) inside the FSX "AIRCRAFT" folder .... and see what happens.
If you've put it in "SIMOBJECTS" then that's likely the reason why FS won't display your aircraft .... I hazard to "GUESS" !
For your B707-120B panel installation .... you'll probably need to create the "FSFSCONV" folder inside your FSX "AIRCRAFT" folder .... then install the "PANEL.B707-120B" folder intact (or which ever -120B panel version you've selected) into this new "FSFSCONV" folder. Alternatively you can just dump the default "PANEL" folder that comes with your B707-120B Aircraft Base Pack .... and replace it with your downloaded PANEL.B707-120B folder .... which you must then also rename "PANEL". That method of panel installtion works perfectly fine too.
Posting an image of the content of your B707-120B Aircraft Base Pack is really just a personal preference of mine .... to assist my more easily spotting any wrong folders or misconfigurations you might have there .... as the old saying goes .... a picture saves a thousand words !!!! ;D
To post an image here you first need to make a JPEG screenshot.
You next need to create/open an acount with an image hosting service .... I recommend "PHOTOBUCKET" .... it's "FREE".
Then upload your image there.
Then post the URL link for your image "HERE" .... which should see you right .... if you still care to do that of course !
