Oh, it does! I know it does as I've just spent 5 hours over the North Sea in one on a virtual "mission"! You will have missed something, somewhere. Is the panel correctly installed and aliased? Is the sound installed? Is the texture installed and added to the Aircraft.cfg?

[fltsim] alias=FSFSCONV\panel.E3-CFM56 thats the panel config
all the sound files are installed and the config got replaced when i put the sound files in.
the texture is added and the config is like this:[fltsim.0] title=Boeing/RAF E-3D AEW1 Sentry ZH-101 sim=e-3d model= panel= sound= texture=raf_2006_e3d_zh-101 kb_reference=boeing_E-3D_ref kb_checklists=boeing_E-3D_check description=Boeing/ Royal Air Force E-3D Sentry AEW.1 ZH-101. Ok, and in your SimObjects\Airplanes folder do you have the folder FSFSCONV with the panel folder inside it?

i think i found the problem. when i changed the panel.cfg to panel.cfg.bak, i looked at the properties for that file and it is called panel.cfg.bak.cfg. so how will i change it to panel.cfg.bak as if i rename it, it wont change the file type.

Thanks for you help here Chris .... since our FSX representative is currently enjoying a well earned vacation .... the Lucky Bugger !!!! ;D "LEIGHTON92" .... to assess your particular issue it might help us somewhat "IF" you could post here a screenshot .... to illustrate precisely what you're referring to. I'm not aware of any particular display issues with these or any of our other aircraft. What you're seeing could just be the result of your graphics cards settings or even just need of a particular Driver etc Mark C AKL/NZ

It's the alpha channels, I've just noticed it! (Flew in full "cockpit only, realy-world" mode today!) Here's a shot This is ZH101, not sure if it's the only one though, apologies with regard to size, etc. straight out of FS before I shut down and go to sleep!

Thanks Chris .... and that image size is "FINE". I remember this came up last year. I also think I remember the problem identified as being an FSX issue with these particular (RAF) textures only .... in other words these RAF textures ("ONLY") worked fine within FS2004 but not with FSX .... for whatever reason The best I can do is ask Tony if he might revist this particular issue .... whenever it is convenient for him to do so. Thanks again Chris ! Mark C AKL/NZ

I'll take a look at it on my own setup, and return to you if necessary Tony.
