Yes. Btw. In your file-explorer window (not the internet Explorer) select the menu item "Tools" and then Folder options" and then the View tab Scroll down a bit and then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" Press Apply and then OK. You should now be able to see your file extensions

in your aircraft folder: "HJG Boeing E3-C v6"
Get rid of the aircraft.cfg and rename the aircraft_fsx.cfg to aircraft.cfg

Also called "Windows Explorer" ??
I think i standard places itself in Start - All Programs - Accessories - Windows Explorer ...
It is the window you presumably are watching very carefully at the moment.

Well it's 11:23 PM here (I'm in Denmark) so I think I'll call it a day now. But just leave a PM or a post here, when you are ready to carry on. Not much left to do now ;-)

aircraft.cfg shall be the name.
Now modify the panel.cfg and the sound.cfg within your aircraft folders:
..\HJG\HJG Boeing E3-C v6\panel\ ..\HJG\HJG Boeing E3-C v6\sound\
according to the guidance.
And meanwhile download the "core-files" needed for all the Boeing panels (found at the top of the Boeing Panels download page.
I'll catch up with you later.

Delete the "aircraft.cfg" file and then rename the "aircraft_fsx.cfg" to "aircraft.cfg" ....
then
Navigate to the panelfolder: ...\HJG\HJG Panels\panel.b707-320badvc.1970
Delete the "panel.cfg" file and then rename the "panel_fsx.cfg" to "panel.cfg" ....
Not to "aircraft" nor "aircraft.cfg.cfg" just plane "aircraft.cfg" ... got the picture?
After that you shall edit their contents:
First be sure they are not write-protected. By right-clicking on them and select "properties" and make sure that the Read-Only box is unchecked.
Then open the "panel.cfg" file in Notepad and change the line: alias=B747_400\panel to: alias=HJG Panels\panel.b707-320badvc.1970
Same procedure with the "sound.cfg" file: Navigate to ...\HJG\HJG Boeing E3-C v6\sound and open the sound.cfg files change: alias=B737_400\sound to: alias=HJG Sounds\aeromusica_c-135_j57_no_rev
Let me know if you have got it right....(we should now be on post 3 in the guide-thread
