ABOUT THIS WEBSITE UPDATEAs always .... thanks for your much appreciated work getting everything uploaded for us Dan ! Welcome to HJG's 3rd anniversary website update folks ! As part of our celebrating 3 years service to the FS community .... and thanks entirely to the kindness of Nicholas BOTAMER, we are proud to announce the release of our "SECRET PROJECT" .... presenting our new DC9-50 aircraft. This is very first of our new DC9 family. We plan to release other DC9 aircraft versions over comming months and as they become available. This release of the first of our new DC9 flightline is also accompanied by 2 new P&W JT8D soundpacks for these aircraft. These are located of the "DOUGLAS AIRCRAFT SOUNDS" downloads page. One file is named "DC9 JT8D EARLY" and is intended for use with all non-hushkitted aircraft (that's all textures assigned "MODEL.02" on ADD TO AIRCRAFT/AIRCRAFT.CFG file data). The other is named "DC9 JT8D LATE" and is intended for use with all hush-kitted aircraft (that's all textures assigned to "MODEL.06" on ADD TO AIRCRAFT/AIRCRAFT.CFG file data). Tonal differences do exist between both soundpacks. PLEASE NOTE: Both DC9 soundpacks, and FDE, should be regarded as BETA versions only at this time.PLEASE NOTE ALSO: At the moment we are unable to offer a DC9 panel .... but .... we are working on it. For this reason .... and for the time being .... all DC9 aircraft will be aliased to the default MSFS B737-400 panel (or B737-800 panel in FSX). Subject to the success of my ongoing negotiations with an outside partie .... expect an announcement regarding our DC9 panel solution sometime over the comming months, so, bear with us please ! In the meantime .... please enjoy our new aircraft, and all the other contents of this .... HJG's celebratory 3rd anniversary website update ! HJG is grateful to Pete DALY/SIMVIATION, and also to the international FS community too for its kind support and encouragement over the past 3 years .... THANKS EVERYONE !!!! Mark C AKL/NZ & BOG/CO

Thanks to all the painters involved.
You guys are number ONE.
BTW - Mark, where do you get all the detailed and interesting info regarding individual aircraft ? OR are you simply a "walking encyclopedia" !!!
Cheers Trevor

Envision the Simpson's scene, where Homer's running around in circles acting like a little girl, saying "Oh my god, Oh my god, Oh my god, Oh my god!" LOL ....that's me!
Out of curiosity... is this a complete done from scratch model, or is it like the 727s? (A bit of help from SGA)
Well done either way, many thanks... I'm going flying (in the sim) now... take care all!

That sounds strikingly like me (without the little girl-like reference ) in respect of all these and 2 other secret aircraft projects which I'm still trying to get released here too .... as well as all the other stuff that's not so secret and which most folk do know about by now ! ;D It's a completly new model .... and represents Nick's own work It's the realization of a dream .... and the fruit of a discussion both Nick and I shared over lunch at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at LAX International Airport one afternoon during October 2007 !
