Hello everyone,
( XP pro/FS2004)
This is my 2nd attempt at this d/load proceedure today and i've run into a problem. I have 2 'solutions' by Mark C, March '09, before me for reference as well...
I'm unable to Paste the 'add to aircraft.txt' ( LZ texture) into the 'Aircraft.cfg' folder. The Paste is greyed out...?
appreciated..
Nick

"NICKS" .... I moved your posting to "HERE" where it's better placed.
"IF" I'm interpreting your problem correctly ....
Try right clicking on the CFG file .... then select "PROPERTIES" from the visible OPTIONS menu bar .... and make sure the the "READ ONLY" attribute is canceled/unchecked.
Do this first then try C&P-ing the ADD TO AIRCRAFT data to your CFG file.
"IF" the READ ONLY attribute does appear checked the that could be all that stopping you from being able to edit.

Hi Mark,
The 'read only' boxes are un-checked and still will not C+P....

Must be something on your PC that's stopping it then ! I've only heard of 1 other similar situation recently (Herman KREIMES reported something similar) by a WINDOWS VISTA user .... and which was totally beyond our control. What windows version are you using ? Mark C AKL/NZ

Hi Mark, We're up & running.. I changed a setting in Properties, then 'Select All'/highlighted the 'Add to Aircraft' text and dropped it into the 'Aircraft.cfg' folder; Saved it, altered the [Fltsim] value to ...0] Then Dragged the 'LZepp.texture' onto the 720 folder; rebooted and it flew and looked fine. I need to change the panels, have default 747 at moment and various other tweaks. I'll need the other 720 LZ version soon so I'll track my actions more carefully and submit a detailed write-up for that one..+ some screenshots cheers and thanks again... Nick
