I'm really enjoying learning and flying the 707-320c. My latest flight is PHNL-KSFO in FS2004. I saved a flight before requesting takeoff clearance, at the top of climb, and at 150W. I can resume the first two just fine, but the third one loads up the FS2004 default Cessna at Boeing Field! Starting from top-of-climb, I've tried saving flights without having used any time compression. I've tried saving the flight and immediately exiting FS2004, before restarting FS2004 and resuming. Same thing each time--Cessna in Seattle instead of Boeing over Pacific. I've never seen this before with any other aircraft. I've even gone back and resumed a SAS A330 flight over the middle of the Atlantic that I saved over two years ago, and it works fine. Any ideas?

YEAH ! I thought we'd established, quite a long while ago in fact (and I think also mentioned within my B707 PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES too .... on the ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT forum page), that these B707/720 panels were known to not perform well as part of any previously saved FS flight scenario .... and therefore such scenarios were not recommended If you're new to us then you may be forgiven, perhaps, for not knowing this detail .... but .... it is something that's been previously reported and that some of us may already be aware of Mark C AKL/NZ

I always disliked "Saved Flights" but that's only me of course!
I use "Saved Game" in Playstation games, and Civilization etc ... but never in FlightSim ;-) Somehow it just doesn't "feel" right to have a fully loaded airplane sit and wait over the Pacific Ocean until you have time to complete the flight :-D
