Hello everyone! My problem is: I have installed three Convai-Jets in the same way. CV-880-22, CV-880 M and CV-990A. In the Win-Explorer (Vista) I can see all three jets - but when surching inside the FS9-menu I can choose only between the 880-22 (basic) and the 990A. Here the (downloaded and installed) 880M is missing! What did I wrong?

If any installed aircraft fails to display within the FS AIRCRAFT MENU .... then that's normally indicative of a minor FLTSIM.XX/ADD TO AIRCRAFT/CFG editing error.
Kindly revise all of those details .... and in particuar note those hilighted below in this COPY & PASTE of my own CV880-22M installation ....
[fltsim.0] title=Convair 880-22M Alaska Airlines sim=CV880_22M_2k4 model=22m panel= sound= texture=alaska_airlines checklists= description=General Dynamics Model 22 was known commercially as the Convair 880. First generation 4 engine jetliner designed in the late 1950's, it was late coming to the party, the Boeing 707 and Douglas DC-8 had already taken over the market. While it's General Electric engines had a bad reputation for reliability, the CV880 was well known for being extremly fast. It still holds several speed records for a sub-sonic jetliner. Only 65 airframes were built. Most were retired from service before the mid 1970's when the price of jetfuel started to rise. atc_id=N8477H atc_flight_number=880 ui_manufacturer=Convair ui_type=CV880-22M ui_variation=Alaska Airlines atc_heavy=0 atc_airline=ALASKA
The bold typed entries (above) all represent the critical data you must recheck .... and please note that my own TEXTURE= entry above, by personal preference, does not conform to actual HJG file naming conventions.
The slightest error/missmatch in any of this data will cause FS to not recognize/display an aircraft.
If necessary post a COPY & PASTE of the FLIGHTSIM.XX data from your own CV880-22M CFG file below .... and we'll try'n sort it out for you from there.

Thank you, Mark, you have been right: There was a letter missing in this line: [model=22m]. The "m" was missing - I can´t understand way! But now it works all right! Bernd

"GOOD-OH" .... glad we got it sorted for you and you can now enjoy these great, very fast, classic jetliners.
Just to try and help you .... may I refer you to my CONVAIR PANEL INSTALLATION & HANDLING NOTES on the ABOUT HJG AIRCRAFT forum page .... which are intended to try'n aid folk understanding and getting the very best out of these aircraft in FS.
Also .... and just as a matter of interest ....
Which particular CV880-22M texture did you encounter this missing "22M" Model= data with ?

Hi Marc! Sorry for that very late answer: It was the FOUR WINDS texture!

As for the song, it was written by Pete Seeger, I first heard it from The Four Seasons (featuring Frankie Valli) when it appeared on their album "Born To Wander".
And bernd, hope you enjoy the Convair jets as much as I do...
