Can't find any info on this- have the UAL DC8-21 with the sound pack installed which is nice, however no night lighting in the cockpit. Am I missing something or is it not avail? Thanks, louross.

"LOUROSS" .... I can't remember if our DC8-10-40 panel features full interior illumination at night or just illuminated instrumentation .... I think it's the latter from memory Being tied up with other things behind the scenes here I haven't actually flown it for almost 3 weeks .... and I don't do much night flying in any case we I do fly it ::. I'll look and get back to you Mark C AKL/NZ

Had a quick loooksie ! "SHIFT + L" seems to provide very minimal interior lighting over the DC8-10-40 panel, but, I don't thinks it's got any stronger effect than that. Hope that helps Mark C AKL/NZ

Maybe I should have been clearer with my previous answer, sorry about that. From external view, the cabin has lighting, but the flight deck does not. From the internal flight deck viewpoint, only the instruments themselves have light, as there is no general lighting to make it all bright like in the daytime.
I myself am using a Go-Flight switch panel for all my lights, and one of the switches is for the "panel lights", which toggles the instrument lights on and off. If you go into FS under settings, just look for the keyboard assignment for "panel lights".
