Hi,
For checking the PIREPs sent by our company pilots and increase the professionality of our operations, we need some weight data of this aircraft that we could not find in the documentation included in the package.
Is it possible to know the MLW (Maximum Landing Weight) and Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW)?
Thanks in advance,
Lluís

For the -300 model, MGTOW is 95,000 lbs (flaps 24), and Max landing weight is 83,000 lbs. ... from the FAA TCDS.

Hi,
Thanks for the information Mike.
As said in the Douglas forum, for flying reallistically those weights are important data to know as our PIREP system checks whether the weights at "block off" and when landing are within range. On the other hand, althoug the real values can be found in the net, usually are not exactly the same as those for the virtual airplane and it is better to use the latter ones.
If you have the values for the:
MTW - Maximum Taxi Weight MTOW - Maximum Take Off Weight MLW - Maximum Landing Weight MVLS - Maximum Vertical Landing Speed MZFW - Maximum Zero Fuel Weight OEW - Operating Empty Weight
This would be great for those of us trying to fly as reallistically as possible.
Thanks in advance,
Lluís

Well, actually the way we set up our FDE's, the real MGTOW, and landing weights also apply to all the HJG planes ;D
Same goes for the MZFW. As for the other parameters, use the real world values. That's why it takes us some time to get new models out due to the flight testing/tweaking that has to be done in order to get the values as close as possible to the real vaues within the limitations of MSFS.

Hi Mike,
Thanks a lot for the information.
If you accept a suggestion, it would be very useful for the pilots of HJG aircraft to add those data to the documentation included in the packages.
Best regards,
Lluís
