HI I downloaded all the Convairs and am trying to get one at a time to work. I cannot get the guages to show up at all. All I get is the panel with black holes in it, no overhead no nothing. I have the guages files put in I think was the main gau fs9 file. The sounds work ok. There is no autothrottle on the default panel so I put a "1" in the arming and autothrottle place to try to get it to work. I want the real panel from the Convair to work with the guages but I need help to find out why they dont show up. There are only 3 files but many guages holes to fill it doesnt make sense to have so many holes and only 3 files. Can you help?

It's actually quite erroneous to assume this.
There are in fact only 2 individual "gauges" fiiles contained within the entire gauges content of the CONAVAIR PANELS GAUGES/CORE FILES package ..... named as follows ....
cv880sw.gau
DC8_kln90b.gau
99% of the gauges required for these CONVAIR panels are contained with the file named CV880SW .... which is why that file is of some 7 (+) MB when unzipped !
ANYWAY .... I understand you have the HJG panel displaing with your aircraft, but, without any gauges .... right !
You should have installed everything as follows ....
The contents (only .... that's the 2 individual gauges files ..... not the complete folder itself) of the Convair Panel Gauges folder must be installed inside your FS "GAUGES" folder.
Then ....
The contents (only .... that's all 19 individual WAV/sound files ..... not the complete folder itself) of the Convair Panel Sounds folder must be installed inside your FS "SOUND" folder .... that's the Soundf folder within your FS route directory and not the default Sound folder within your aircraft base pack folder/container.
When all this is done correctly there's no logical reason for the gauges to not appear within the panel.
There's not supposed to be any AT .... and no provision is made for it within these particular panels or aircraft files.
CV880 aircraft .... like B707/720, early B727, CARAVELLE, and DC8, aircraft too .... were not AT equipped at all.
There was a form of AT installed into some B707 and DC8 aircraft later, but, it was apparently reputed to be notoriously unreliable .... and wass therefore mostly not ever used/relied upon.
On these aircraft power was set manually .... and then .... constantly monitored and adjusted manually the throughout climb, cruise, and descent .... normally by the FE.
