Good day...
I've just downloaded the Somali Airlines repaint for the 707-320C (6O-SBM). The aircraft's textures are blurry in the aircraft selection window and the game window. Anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks

This can happen .... or .... be more noticeable on some systems and devicves more than on others. That texture has been around for quite a while now but this's the first such report I recall seeing regarding "IT". This particular posting .... of a wee while back and in relation to a couple o B727-100's .... might throw some light on what you think you may be experiencing .... tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/index.....lay&thread=3042Failing that .... we'll need to let the author of that particular texture get back to us .... when it's convenient for him to do so. I have reloaded the file after removing the mips so it should not be blurry now, re-download it and let me know how it is Cheers Tony

miggi747, I had the same problem with a few textures and took Willy Vic's advice (copied below...it worked perfectly for me...) Willy Vic stated... It does sound like a mipmap issue. To convert the bmp file you can use the free program DXTbmp. Available here www.btinternet.com/~mnwright/ If you use Vista or Win7 I suggest installing anyplace other than C:/programfiles to prevent UAC interference. Once installed open the bmp file you wish to convert (remember to make a backup copy first!) Uncheck the two small boxes at right under mipmaps. Select from the drop down at upper left "file--save as". I use the extended bipmap option and set it to "exended 32 bit 888-8" The finished file should be 4097kb in size. Hope this helps a bit. Mips are gone. Thanks Tony.
Thanks WillyVic for the tip on using DXTBMP. I might probably try that on other blurry paints.

I have this problem since I bought my last computer. The easiest solution (apart dxtbmp): press numbers 4 and 6 fast on external view. It forces the view to pass throught the fuselage, resets the distance and solves the problem.... until next time, of course.
